Accutane - Who used it BEFORE their first cycle

Has anyone used accutane before their first cycle, and if so, did you get acne?

I was on accutane for 1.5 years, for severe acne. It basically killed it off. Rarely do I get even the smallest pimple now. I am curious if running test will bring back my acne, or if the Accutane killed it for good?

This vary's person to person.....

Oil production can start up again..... so you CAN break out but it doesn't mean it will happen. Some guys get very light acne..... others get full blown acne again.

The only acne I get now, post-accutane, is the next day after I work out, I get tiny little pimples on my triceps.... I've always found that odd.

But if the test gets my oil production going again, I'll be back on accutane.

I took accutane not on my first cycle but on my 3rd cycle. Bad acne carpet front and back. Accutane cleared it up in 4 weeks. I still get small acne here and there but no carpet. Accutane is supposed to shrink the size of the subatious(sp?) glands. Consequently, you shouldn't have as many acne as before. You skin will get pretty dang oily on a cycle. I'm on a Test Prop/Tren cycle right now, I'm 51, and I have oil on my face like a teenager. If you're prone to acne there's a good chance you'll get some but I don't think you'll get carpets of them.

i am on accutane right now 40mg per day. I started to get acne on my neck post PCT (no where else, just neck) so i started a cycle of accutane.

The time i took it was like 15 years ago.

I took accutane after my first cycle. Best decision I ever made. I can count on 2 hand how many pimples Ive had on my face since. I dont even have to wash my face unless im showering. Ive cycled since and have had no significant problems. Just a few shoulder bumps; primarily because I cannot get to a shower immediately after a work out- and I sweat like a hog.

I never had a single side effect. My doctor happened to be one of the top dermatologist on the east coast. He said that there was no bases for the side effect claims against accutane, and that the majority of the studies we funded by OTC acne conglomerates.

I have run a few cycles since my accutane, which was a high dose for 6 months. My acne does not increase at all while on cycle. I have run higher doses and many compounds and nothing has produced large cystic acne for me anymore

I wouldnt call them life altering but at a higher dose i definitely had sides. It is more of a nuisance than life altering and i have had no long term effects. The dry cracked lips and skin can be bothersome. Also i never sunburn but while on accutane i had to use a facial moisturizer daily with SPF in order to keep my face from getting cherry red. I dont feel like the sides would even be that bad at a lower dose

Im using 40mg twice per day!! All good other than the chapped lips and a little tired at first ... Other than that g2g
