This is what I'm talking about... It doesnt make any ****in sense to try and recover normal HTPA function if your just going to jump right back on after wards... I look at it as a longer term thing. Used to cycle... coming off was a waste

This would depend on ones goals..... A lot of people here like to claim that they are pursuing bodybuilding but they never do. For those that don't wish to compete one day..... they may not want to blast/cruise. One can maintain a nice physique with cycling on and off. If you're looking to be MASSIVE then you're going to have to be "on" all the time. When you reach your bodies natural limit..... you'll be very hard pressed to maintain any added size above it without the use of anabolics.

Is it worth it for a beach body? HAHA well.... a lot of 25 and unders will say yes because there is a general lack of maturity at that age.

I think it has a lot to do with age also. The least I ever do is 250 mg/week test. I'm 47 and don't want to have any kids though...

A friend of mine abused steroids when he was younger... Test/tren all day and all night... No pct... years later he went to an endo who prescribed HCG at mega doses he has two kids now.... I dont really think its as big a problem as we think.

AND It might be healthier to maintain a certain size instead of yo-yoing year in and year out.... As long as you get your blood levels checked and everything is in range..

    It doesn't work like,
All because you know someone who cycled all his life "day" & "night" and he recovered well doesn't mean you will. I know a guy who cycled once and had to go on TRT in his 20's for life, your not thinking straight .

What are you trying to achieve with bodybuilding, where do you want to go with it, why do you want to stay on cycle?

The longer your shutdown the harder the recovery

Staying "on" would take all the fun out of it for me. I like to test myself when i'm off as well.

That's what I've been loving coming off my first cycle. Watching what gains I can keep and strength I can keep too

After about a years worth of research now, I'm leaning more towards staying on (blast & cruise) I'm 32 & I plan on competeing in the Strongman Comp. within the next year or two. I'm pretty big & powerful now, but nowhere near big & powerful enough to compete professionally. I dont want my season to end with the local qualifying shows, or even the regional's, I want to go all the way to the pro's. The title is "Worlds Strongest Man" not "Towns strongest Man" or "Region's Strongest Man".

As long as you stay in check, listen to your body and monitor your blood levels you can stay on cycle for awhile. But your going to have to come off eventually and let your body recover. It's just smart.

I dont think you have to come off at all. Just lower you Test. to a TRT dose & stop all other compounds. Get bloodwork every 90 days or so, to ensure everythoing is as it should be. Just a few of the more important factors to keep an eye out for are, BP, cohlesterol, & blood thickening.

Your missing the point... If you dont care if you stay on for the rest of your life TRT or TRT + cycling or Blasting and cruising... Then the only issue you could have is fertility and my point is that its not as big a problem as we think...

I can either cycle on and off and be disappointed everytime i come off and eventually go on TRT when I'm 30-35-40 whatever or I can just go on now and have a way better time with my life

I could easily be wrong, but that's the chance I am taking with my life, and because it is a chance, I am not out to advise anyone else on the decisions they should make.

Here are the reasons why NOT TO:

    1. You may need TRT

Well since we are talking about staying on indefinitely we are actually taking about TRT + Cycling.. So this is a non issue.

    2. Having kids.

There is enough evidence showing that it will still be possible even a decade after steroid abuse. This is still a risk though.

    3. Health issues associate with it.

If you monitor your blood work frequently and take proper precautions this can be reduced significantly.

For me personally... I am good with 1, I dont care if I stay on for the rest of my life, its my choice. I am ok with 2, I really dont care if I ever have kids. I am ok with 3, I monitor my BP, cholesterol and RBC count.

There is no reason for me to come off.

It's actually only been six months, since committing to this. Prior to that, I cycled.

I am considering it. I will need to setup with an endo first.

I was watching something on tv where these bodybuilders in the 70's all got heart problems now and even though they blame it on the AAS there is no proof. Shit I forgot one of there names where he said he was on for 10 years straight and won mr America mr universe and he ate right did cardio and all that stuff an had a heart attack a stroke and had tudors on his kidneys and liver and blamed it all on the AAS he used when he was younger

I agree with getting bw done regularly. I don't see the point to staying on unless you want to either compete at a high level of bodybuilding or already need trt.

I was on trt for a short period when my new wife talked about having kids so I got off did a pct and 1 month later she was pregnant, I now have a beautiful 20 month old babygirl? After she hit her second trimester I jumped back on trt

I think it is wise to deter most people from doing this. Especially if you are under 40 yrs old. I say this because I am 45. I have been on test for over 13 months now. Blasting and cruising. Bear 79, you and I had this discussion a while back. It pops up every few months. I had sexual probs while running high amounts because of E levels. Believe me, you will never be happy with 500 mgs, or 750 mgs. You will take it to new limits. You will look for new things to mix and add. You will never be satisfied. All the while destroying the natural balance of your body. For me it became addictive (mentally). There were times when I was not happy on..and miserable off. WTF. I definetly did not want another child though, and did not even begin pinning until I was like 42. Maybe a mid life crisis coupled with vanity issues compelled me to experiment. I have been self medicating my cruising so far. I have been completely off for for 14 days now in the hopes of dropping my levels to a number tha will allow for prescribed HRT. Every day...several times a day I look at the callender counting down the days until I feel my levels are low enough. Is this any way to live? In preperation I have stock piled more cyp, sus, and tren for the very hour after I drop my blood for testing. I am always paranoid about running out so I try to stay 6 months to the good. Is this any way to live? Like a junkie. It was all very fun in the beginning...the sex was off the chain..the gains were fast and the strength was amazing. stpete said a mouth full when he said "staying on would take all the fun out of it". Feeling "NORMAL" is a thing of the past. I no longer know what normal felt like. I have no one to blame but myself for this abuse, but for those of you that have not yet gone there...please think twice. I know, I said it too...that will never happen to me. Do you really want to be a lifer? Do you want to forfiet something as simple as the option of loading the needle? Or do you want to be the guy that HAS TO load it just to complete the day or week. Its nice to have a choice...choose wisely.
