pinned myself in a bad spot

i had to pin myself for the first time in years. also i didnt have a mirror so it was a bad spot. about 4in left of ideal spot on left glute. weird enough if felt like the nicest one ive ever had. about a day and a half latter it begun to hurt if touched and i have a bump on my butt but not really on the spot i pinned. lil bit closer to where it should have been. bump has been there for about 4 days thoughts?

I always use a heating pad & something solid to massage the area with, a billiards ball works magic if you can get your hands on one. Ice only makes it more achey & offers no relief, at least that's what ice does for me.

Sounds like virgin muscle. Did you inject quickly? Since it has been years you may not realize most people have changed how they/we inject. it's more common to inject SLOWLY not so you are not causing trauma to the muscle. Think of it this way. Fill up the syringe with water, now push the plunger with the same force you would normally. How far does the water fly into the air? OK oil is a little thicker but you get the idea. Where is the oil going? Blasting against some poor muscle causing a big bruise. Next time let it trickle in, inject slow. 1+ minute per CC is typically bruise free.

Bruised muscle? Cuz I don't have a bruise on skin. Also my muscle should be good as far as use to it. It was my fist shot to myself in a very long time but not my first shot period in a long time
