    Young and gaining naturally

    Hi all,

About 2 months ago I posted my intentions and queries at steroids.com. I wanted to take on a very minimal test-e and dbol cycle. I added my stats being:

    Age 18
    6' 3-4"
    172 lbs
    8% BF
Working out for almost 2 years.

Within an hour, I had 5 senior steroid users deterring me from starting a cycle. They stated that age 18 is a 'dangerous' age to start steroids, because they may influence your body's natural function, and a number of other reasons, including my weight being far too low. I was a little upset, because I had my heart set on getting to 200 lbs in a short amount of time, but I am no fool. One reply gave me the idea to eat and lift like I was on a cycle, and I should see great results. I listened to all these wise words, swallowed my pride, and completely changed my strategy.

I immediately changed my workout schedule to a routine surrounding deadlifts, squats, millitary presses and bench presses, followed by bodyweight exercises (respectively), and finished with some isometric work to even up. I bought 2 12 lb bags of Cytogainer (which I highly recommend), and started to watch my caloric intake skyrocket, without really stuffing myself nor greatly changing my food.

4 times a week I've hit the gym and lifted hard, recording all my lifts, and progressively increasing the weight, without getting ahead of myself. 3 times a week I'd do yoga (don't even try and tell me this is for the weak). I ride my bike to and from work everyday, which is about 3-4 miles each way, and that accounts for my cardio.

2 months down the road and I couldn't be happier. I've gained over 10 lbs and maintained an 8% BF. At this rate I'll hit my 220 goal in the next year. To top it off I've also kept up with my juicing friends in the gym (in the long run) whom are all my age. This is of course at the end of their cycle, and the kicker is all my gains have stayed.

The purpose of this post is to strengthen my peers. To anyone sub age 21 or underweight to start juicing, steroids isn't the answer. As many will try and persuade you here on the forums as well as in the gym, you have natural testosterone that WILL allow you to pack on lean muscle, and very fast. When you lift well, you increase the level of testosterone in your body. After 2 months of lifting hard and getting really serious about it, I started to feel like an ANIMAL. Diet, a great routine, and a lot of hard work will get you there, no matter how skinny or young you are.

Thanks again to those senior members who spoke up and informed me of the dead honest truth.

    I am very grateful,

Keep up that awesome attitude. There's so much more we can do naturally. I've always said that most people would be more than happy with what what they would be able to achieve with their natural ability if they only knew how to tap in to it with all the lifestyle factors (food, training, ATTITUDE!).

    Keep it up bro.

Awesome, Dude. And yoga is no joke. It's really helped me recover from a serious back injury from years ago.
