    Red cross notification after donation

I had been suffering from some on cycle fatigue for a few weeks. My diet, training, and rest are all getting the proper amount of attention. Marcus300 suggested it might be due to high red blood cell count . I took his advise and donated to the red cross.

Does anyone know what kind of information they send about your blood in the mail? I figure disease is a given; but how about RBC?

it's been a long time since I donated blood but I thought all they sent out was a thank you and your blood type. There could have been a number you could call for more info but I honestly don't remember as it's been 7 years since donating...

They won't tell you what your hematocrit was, but if it were too high, they wouldn't have taken your blood to begin with.

Call and make an appointment. I recommend avoiding the first couple hours they're open. Seemed like they didnt get their sh-t together until later on.
