I want to be extra careful and clean my stuff. I read a post by a member on here and he suggested mixing in Benzyl Alcohol to kill any/all bacteria just in case. Is this what I'm looking for?

It's not that I don't trust my source, it's that I'm doing this for the 1st time. I read the thread on here:

First you need to remove that link in your first post.

Second, if you're concerned about the purity (which is fair enough) you'd be better off re-filtering it than adding BA.

if you are concerened about it then buy pharm grade

the extra $$$$ will even out with the cost of filters, glassware etc and added hassle of doing the whole process
