    glute injections

If you inject too high on the glute area would there be any negative effects?

Just make sure you are actually sticking the needle in the glute, high or low, doesn't make a difference...

A good rule of thumb is not to go lower than halfway imo...Was told about that little thing called the sciatic nerve a long time ago and i never wanted to take any chances of running into that bad boy.

Muscle above the glute? If you go to high you could..... never mind, Stpete covered it. Those are on either side of the lower small of you back. I have had mine pinched several times. Not much fun. It's bad enough it feels like someone is sticking you will a needle and you have shooting pain down your legs. I couldnt imagine actually sticking a needle in them. Hmmm wait, yes I can because I have had Epidural injections before into the spine. Yeah that was fun. One memory I would not mind never of having.

Honestly it wont matter what muscle you hit for the most part as far as absorption. The larger the muscle the better but it's minuscule and you would probably never notice the difference.

Thanks. I've had no nerve problems, just the aching ass I used to get has completely ceased and wanted to make sure I was hitting muscle while geting absolutely no pain. Thanks again
