It's possible. Warm it up and take your time.
back load the slin pin and you can make it work as long as your "friend" doesnt have much fat in whatever area you hit. Remember it needs to get into the muscle. So i would use at least a 5/8 pin.
Warming the test helps? Thanks didn't know that. How would you go about doing this exactly?Originally Posted by VEGAN-O-ROID
Thanks man Idk what size he's got ahold of but ill let him know. I'm lucky my wife's a nurse she does all the pins, lolOriginally Posted by boxin23
Just soak the vial/ampoule in warm water to thin it out.
Thanks for the help
I think he should suck it up and use at min a 25g. I pin a 22g eod do I like it not really but I would never think of using a slim pin
Back loading a slin pin to pin quads takes all the pain out of the injection for me. Makes hitting pecs less pulp fiction as well. Just takes a long time to push it through. Which is a good thing. Other wise 23 ga anywhere else.
backload the insulin needle and inject into delt it will take a minute too push all tinleshe oil out but i did it first time earlier this week like that very easy and painless
Use 5/8 25g, a slin pin would take an hour/ml to push in lol
I have no idea what is taking you guys so long with a slin pin. it pushes right through for me. I run it under hot water for a bit. But no matter where i stick it it flows nice and smooth.

sling pin, 30g is SLOW to push and makes my thumb hurt. 27g is much better and easier but I would not try to draw through it. i draw with 22g. 25g works but it's slow. I typically pin with 25g but of course 27 is nice.
I'll often use a 29g 1/2" slin pin if I run out of standard syringes. It just requires more patience.
I'll sub-q with with anywhere from a 27 to a 31 ga on occasion. It's slow but steady. 25 ga 1" everywhere else.
LOL, true that. I need to do more thumb presses.I typically dont use an 18g when going through a rubber seal because it can easily tear off small pieces that then up as floaters or leave a hole big enough to leak if the vial is turned on it's side depending on the rubber seal material.
