usps domestic shipment

OK...My source "says" the check was mailed last Mon. late afternoon. We have done business in the past and things have gone well. The check was mailed from Cali to the midwest. A week later and still nothing in the mail. Providing it was mailed should I worry???

If it has been over a week since he SAID he sent it I would wonder but a lot of people even if they mean well say its in the main and they forget for a few days. The USPS is also slowing things down and not moving quite as fast as it use to. I would worry after 2 weeks.

I guess my main question really wasn't the reliability of my guy...I am more concerned about the possability of a seizure

Minimal chance if it's shipped USPS domestic.

I have read the same thing and the amounts have been small...just always nervious till the check is in hand. My luck I would be THAT guy! If it DID go out say last Tues. should I be concerned at the one week mark or am I just over paranoid??

ask the guy for a delivery confirmation number or tracking number.

yeah gixx. he never gets the tracking...just sticks in an envelope and drops it. Never had a prob. before.

They don't check domestic packs unless something goes horribly wrong (like if a vial breaks and leaks oil everywhere).

if its just first class mail then times can vary by a lot.

If it went out last Tuesday I wouldn't sweat it. Dont start to worry until next Saturday, things can be slow sometimes. Recently I commented on how it took an actual check over 3 weeks to get to me from an insurance company after they said it was mailed out. Yeah right... I told them the pony express must have had a lame horse and it threw a shoe on the way.
