    need help and advice

Im on my 9th week of test e and I ran out of my 23 gauge 1 1/2 pins, so I was given a 21 gauge 1 in pin and I used in my left glute. This was on Mon, had a lump last couple days payed no mind to it but its big like 5" x 3" and now its completely red all the way around it like a 8 in diameter and warm to the touch. Also when I took out the pin a little bit of oil came out first time for that. Is all this happening cause I didnt pin deep enough and I sat alot lol which is what I think just trying to get feed back that its not likely I have an infection where it'll go to my blood

Oil chasing the pin is common with a larger gauge, or removing the pin too fast.... I have used 1" pins in the glute, and find the lumps to be slightly larger (assuming the depot is closer the the surface). Now signs of infection are redness swelling warm to the touch and fever... and ofcourse painful.
Now as for me average pain or lump is 3 days or a week depending on how much gear. But usualy 3 days with 2mls.
Now u can obviously rule out the gear since its ur on week 9 and since u only pinned mon, it maybe too early to tell...
I'm no doctor so do what u feel is best if it were me I would wait a lil bit, but keep an eye on it , if pains or swelling worstens and fever follows get urself to a doctor..
I've had some scares my self, and lumps where I couldn even sit.

If it's red and warm to the touch it's infected and you need to get an antibiotic. Go to the doctor and say it's a B12 shot or you poked it but then you might get a tetanus shot also.

21g is pretty big. How fast did you inject? You were given a 21g but it was new, sealed, right?

Yes it was new and sealed of course injection was fast I thought it may be irritated from sitting on it alot which may of made it inflammed, should I go in right away or can I wait til morning and see my doc? My doc is backing me up on this I blew out my knee so he is giving me my ai but if I can avoid the doc bill I would like to

Also everytime I pin I sterolize the top of my bottle and my glute each time thats why I dont understand how it could be infected I aspirtated too everytime

Like I said do what u feel is in ur best interest... I myself had some red swollen lumps, but never fever. From what I hear infections are extremely painful and worstens by the day. Get some antibiotics if u can just incase.

You dont get a fever until it gets BAD. If it keeps getting warmer get to the doctor. Monday should be fine. Next time inject SLOW. When you inject FAST you are blowing the juice into the muscle causing a bruise and that why it gets sore. It's not like it's wide open in there or a porous sponge. Give it time to absorb and move around. I typically take over 1 min per CC and never get sore. Do the math, 1min to inject vs no pain or inject in 10 sec and 2+ days of pain.

I would assume yes if its liquid. Since antibiotics is bacteria. Might have to research that one. Typically infections with gear an abcess will develop. They have anti biotics for those, but of course if its too large it will have to be drained. Friend of mine had one. Said the pain was so bad he couldn move lift his arm. And find out the uses for that anti biotic aswell...
And the pin was only monday. Give few days an see if its better or worse.

How old is it? Most can sit for a couple of years without loosing much strength and taking 1 is not going to do anything. Most antibiotics need taken 1 or 2x a day for 15 days min. Read the instructions.

There have been times where blood would squirt out a lil bit . I always aspirate myself. It happens. What maybe the case I thought maybebon the way in out or u hit a vien. Since u aspirated then your good. If u hit a vien during aspiration up kno coz blood will fill that plunger real fast

The antibiotics are just under 2 yrs pill form and its says to take two times a day which I'll do forsure. I appreciate the feedback too, and while Im sitting now doesnt bother me a bit, the only difference now from any other time its red and the knot is a little bigger and Im hoping its just cause I didnt use a long enough pin

Try to keep off it , and stop worrying about it, don't look at it every second. Get a marker outline it. And see if it actually gets bigger.

So long as the Cipro isn't grossly expired, use it.
And Yamaha, it is not a bacteria, but derivative of nalidixic acid.

i meant anti biotics in general, and expirations for liquids... like penicillian comes from fungus if im not mistaken... but very useful info bonaparte, ive never heard of or used cipro... but like i said its something for JD to do some research

the only thing with taking antibiotics jd is making sure you have enough to run a full course. i think the expiration will be okay providing that the antibiotic itself has not deteriorated or changed color. most important make sure you have enough of it

You generally can't tell when antibiotics have expired. Though they will often degrade into toxic byproducts, which is why they should not be used once (really) expired. If it were recently expired, I would still use it in a pinch.
