well there is your 2 problems, by a good protein diet I doubt you mean a 250-300gram protein 3000calorie diet? and lack of libido is classic symptom of low testosterone which will make gains very difficult and also make for low libido like you said, lack of energy, poor concentration span, lack of appetite, generally not feeling 100%
so if I was you I would 1 revise your diet and 2 speak to your doc and get bloodwort done, you may be in line for TRT (testosterone repla.c.e.m.ent therapy)
