actually, i got my pharm-grade hcg delivered in an ice-box, and i chuck them into my fridge the moment they arrive. it is best kept in between 2-15 oC. 1wk on a ship under the hot sun sounds rather long.

Tell him to throw a gel ice pack in with it and pack it in a small Styrofoam box, they should keep it good and cool for several days. Pack it tight so nothing bounces around.

Not if it is already reconstituted/mixed. My doctor won't even let me drive it home without a cold pack.

You should ask your doc how he got his supply delivered, even if its still in powder form. Ice box, i bet.

They mix it there. I sometimes sit and chat with the girl while she does it.

I didn't think it needed refrigeration when in powder form...but I have never had to deal with it, so I have never really looked into it.

Why would pharmacies keep it in the fridge and I know here they will only ship it cold if it doesnt need to be refridgerated? As far as im aware HCG is very volatile even before reconstitution and I personally have used HCG that was left out for a week (powder) and was useless, also know a few others in the same situation. I wouldnt use it if you can get quality and just pay the price for it

Once reconstituted, it must be kept cold or it will deteriorate fast (though this could mean a few hours or a week depending on room temp). It really isn't that fragile.

They were probably useless from the start. I only use pharm grade and it keeps just fine the way I described.

Lyophilized powder is when it is freeze-dried into a puck. (i.e. before reconstitution)
