Medical question
Does anyone have diabetes? I am a 43 year old white male with type II diabetes. I aquired this at the age of 28. I have never been over weight. (6'1" 180 lbs) I take pills and the occasional insulin shot. My sugar runs about 150 on an average day. I am considering anabolics because my body doesnt respond to weight lifting like it used to and my energy level (stamina) is low. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried anything natural yet? Like DAA, Stinging Nettle and D3? Worth a try and may give you a boost. Welcome to forum and good luck.

gixxer do you like to stay a little high or a little low?
its obviously to hard to stay at 100 all the time but i find I can usually choose to stay lower or higher on average.
low seems healthier but I get tired if i fall below 85

It all depends with diabetes, Im 26 and been diabetic since I was 13, type 1 for me.
When I say it depends is because everybody reacts differently with anabolics, your body might become more resistant to your pills or insulin . For example I'm on a cycle now and I've had to increase my insulin dosage a slight amount.
But remember when you use AAS you née to change your diet dramatically, you can't just eat the average amount as a normal diabetic, for some people this is a problem because their blood sugar goes all over the place when they are not used to eating 5-8 times a day with significantly higher amount of carbs.
I can't personally tell you that it will be ok because I don't know your body or how sensitive your sugar levels get.
See if anyone else decides to chime in maybe they know a little more, but just take what I've told you into consideration.

it changes through the years. I've been diabetic for 25 years.
There were times i wouldn't get hypo symptoms till 50, now i start to feel it around 70-80.
i try and keep around 100-120 now.
For me when im on i require less insulin .If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

well ive noticed that caffeine will mask all symptoms of hypo.
like i can go down to 30 and not know it until my arm starts to go numb.

IM not sure if it is the increased heart rate that is masking it.
but other symptoms like sweat and shaking hands and vision clouds that i usually get with low blood sugar are masked as well

Idk why but I've also noticed I start feeling hypo much lower 40-50 now. Before it used to be 70-80 but ever since I started packing on the weight it's gone down.
