    question on how hard I should go when lifitng on a var cycle

    Hi Guys,

    Im on a var 40 mg ed cycle, I do strenght training, 5, 3's and 1's.

    1) Should I really go as heavy as I can during the cycle
    2) Should I stop my weight progression 1-2 weeks before the cycle ends end try to keep that weight so I get used to It and when var ends I dont lose strenght ?

    Also I lift like powerlifters, I hold my breath during the lifts, but I saw cuz of the increased bloodpressure, my friggin face and eyes got red on a max effort lift, I guess I need to breate during my lifts cuz of var now eh

    your just running 40mgs of var?
    If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

    been doing that for almost 2 weeks, its pharma var, it kicked in pretty strong, goal is cutting, strenght is secondary, should i bump to 50-60? depends on bodyweight no ? im only 180 pounds but im strong for It (i think) - I squat 275 x 5, bench 240 x5, dl 335 x 5, standing overheadpress 155x5, I wanna get strong for my weight not heavier

    when people train for maximum size a common opinion is to use high volume training on cycle then drop the volume in half when the cycle finishes but keep the weight the same on and off cycle, not sure if the same applies to powerlifters but they probably employ a similar kind of year round training/cycling strategy

    var is not known for massive strength gains. it is more subtle than that. and a 40mg/day dose is a mild dose.
    mild dose with a mild steroid....

    ...I'd suggest you train as you normally wouuld. I'd feel better about saying this if i knew you had at least a year in the gym to make sure your tendon/ligament strength is up.

    Cape: Ive been training for 2 years.. I just wanna use var for cutting but if it will help me get a little stronger, I wanted to know best way to do my programming. Thanks Adam for the feedback. I think im gonna bump my dose to 5 for week 3 to 6.
