    Combating sleepyness during cycle

I never really put two and two together but apparently my cycles are making me sleepy. I used to embrace this and nap it up all the time since I figured it would help muscle growth but I have noticed sleeping all the time has ruined my productivity in the gym/staying on task with meals etc. I notice when takind an eca stack during my cycle I am able to stay up all day and feel more revitalized for my workouts etc. however I'm not sure if this is the best method to combat sleepyness when I switch to a bulking cycle (as eca burns calories). Is there anything else any of you do to combat sleepyness during cycles?

That's very odd. What are you taking exactly, and are you eating enough complex carbs, quality protein and essential fatty acids to maintain the amount of work/exercise you're performing each day?

It's funny that you posted that cause I was just coming on to post the same question. I've noticed that I've been very tired since starting Dbol/TE about 2 weeks ago. I think some are just prone to it. Some say they feel so great when they are on and there is not that drastic a change for myself. at least not so far this time.

Protein shakes can make you tired as hell. Its the amino acid tryptophan.

I personally think if you don't train heavy sometimes and forget to run cardio your not stimulating the body and gear enough, thus compounding and making u tired. Of course I think diet has a lot to do with it too. IMO

My diet is clean (healthy fats, the whole bit) but yes, perhaps my calories are too low at 1500 (last stages of my cut... I tend to slowly lower calories the cutter I get). But even so I've gotten this issue even when bulking and having a caloric surplus. I my macros are around 40 40 20 however I have had this issue even when doing 50 30 20 (usually when bulking). I am doing a tren/test cycle. Really I have had tiredness issues overall in general (but never really realized it... I've just recently noticed the correlation between a high dose of gear and how tired I get). Only when my dosages are low (like trt levels durig bridging) or if I come off does this seem to go away. I have heard that gear can make you tired. I have heard it has to do with a slowing down of the thyroid/hypothalmus adrenal glands etc. I am taking t3 (as recommended while on tren) apparenlty that should help some but who knows I have heard the theory that an increased red blood cell count can account for this but as i have heard that might not really make sence the way I understand it as people who blood dope purposely increase their red blood cell count in order to improve oxygen transfer/efficiency etc.

I missed this but someone suggested to train heavy/do cardio... I train as heavy as possible within my rep ranges (i'm not training for strength currently but for maximal hypertrophy but i do go to failure and increase poundages at about 10 reps or so depending on the muscle group) Also I am doing a decent amount of cardio as I am currently cutting. I dont really think its something i'm doing "wrong" just the way my body reacts. I am also eating plenty of veggies as it's a life saver while cutting for me in order to help keep me feeling full. At most I'd say maybe it's my calorie count but for me the last few pounds I loose requires for me to shrink my calorie input a bit more than normal. And as I said when i bulk I have the same problem..

Black coffee works for me. Don't add sugar or creamer. Stay away from Mocha's
You can try a 5hr energy also but I have to take 2 to have any effect. I think it's my ADD. One cup of coffee or a singe Mocha and it puts me to sleep. I need 3 cups of coffee to get anything out of it or a 4 shot espresso. 2 cups of coffee and my Vyvance (add med) works for a nice little long lasting buzz...
