Blood Work with Medicare
I live in canada and I have a medicare. So the doctor doesnt check the blood worrk sheet for anything you want.
Hey so today I went to see a doctor and couldn't get her to check mark the "Total and Free testosterone " on the blood work sheet. However they give me the sheet so I can go to any hospital and get it done.
Is it illegal to check mark the Total and Free testosterone myself? (it probably is) But can i get away with it if I do? for example i ll say "My family has history of low Test and I was feeling depressed and had erectile dysfunction and etc..". What can I do about this?
This is how the bw sheet looks likeLast edited by EquilibriumZ; 05-04-2012 at 08:21 AM. Reason: more info

typically the labs have a copy of the sheet also so checking the boxes may not do any good. You should be able to just find an online lab and get them done yourself. I had my Test total and free done along with E2 and It was $150 I think

Well then the only problem is when you doctor see the report and the test is on it and he remembering your discussion. What do you say to him then?

I figured since I ll be doing the test next week instead of now, he will get the results in 3 week which by that time hopefully he ll forget. But if he doesnt, I m not going to see that doctor to see the result and I asked the receptionist, she said I can just give the clinic the call and ask for the numbers once the doctor sees the result. (ex: 500ng and etc)

well the answer is it is fraud. And yes you can get in trouble. So you can abuse the system and take the risk or just pay the fee yourself and not worry about it
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Just for those wondering, I did mark off 2 extra check marks and got away with it. Just do the tests after 2 weeks so your doctor forgets (make sure he/she is a walking clinic doctor so you wont see them again). And if you get over the phone they say that they caught you, say " I dont know what are those but I remember I told the doctor that I have low test in familiy and (list sides of low test)"
Goodluck
