Testosterone levels

Does anybody know if taking a couple of birth control pills before a blood draw will lower my testosterone level? Testing positive for cyp. isnt an issue, I just need my levels to be lower.

If you have synthetic test in your system I do not believe you will be able to lower it

You are absolutely correct. Birth control pills have female hormones that prevent ovulation, and have no effect on test levels.


The only ways I know of to lower your test levels are to use synthetic test to shut down your body's natural production, then stop taking the synthetic test, and let it clear from your system, or to abuse opiates for a year or more. Also you can get very fat and sedentary, and that will lower your test.

Another thing that could bring down test levels is Deca . FYI. Why may I ask do you want to lower your test levels. Are you trying to get HRT? Or are you on HRT and doc is going to draw labs and you're on cycle?

Sounds like someone has an endo blood draw coming up and is mid cycle. If that's the case I'd stop pinning and tell him something. Emergency work trip, gonna be out of town a couple weeks. Etc.

Depends on the type. Some are one or the other, but the most effective ones contain both.

I didn't see where he said he was on cyp. There is nothing you can do, but stop pinning, and don't go to the doc.
