    Anavar dosing: what works for you?

    I'm about to start the anavar part of my cycle, and this is my first run w/ it. I have heard a pretty wide range of dosages recommended, and I'm interested in hearing peoples experience. Also, all one dose per day, or broken up, and w/ or w/o food. Any experience or advice is welcome.

    Current cycle is:
    Test prop:525mmg/wk 1-16
    Tren ace :525mg/wk 1-8
    Anavar :?mg/wk 8-16
    Exemestane:25mg/ed
    Standard Nolva/Clomid PCT

    42yo/5'7"/190lbs/4th cycle.

    I would NOT exceed 80mg a day at your current BW and concerning that it will be your first time with Anavar.

    You will be better off breaking up the total dose into 2 ervings a day, concerning its 9 hr half-life.

    As for taking it with food or on empty stomach, it will enter the blood stream more quickly if not taken with food, that's about the only difference this will make...

    I would take 40mg several hrs before my workout and the rest after my workout concerning the pump and how it would be unnecessary and unpleasant while trying to sleep.

    Thanks TJ. Just what I was looking for. Also, not to hijack my own thread, but anyone got any thoughts on the "orals with grapefruit juice" theory? does this actually work?

    I am running var now 75mg ed I split it in half.But I never take anything on a empty gut anymore.Somethings can mess up your day.

    what do you mean by this? The pump you get from anavar keeps you up or am I totally misunderstanding you

    no bs i have ran 20 mg a day for 8 weeks and have notice lbm plus vascularity, i have gone all the way up to 80mg and the only thing i notice in difference was more tearing pumps. just my .2

    I'm currently running 40mg/ed.. Started a couple weeks ago and so far so good, but I think I'd enjoy a higher dose. I have it lined up for my next as well. I have 25 mg caps so I may try 75/ed and possibly go up to 100/ed depending on results.

    I wasn't suggesting that pumps from Anavar would keep you up at night. One is more likely to experience pumps during the workout, when there is intense physical activity anyway. But now I see how it totally came out wrong as I was typing it...

    Steroids are associated with different sorts of syndromes of restlessness, which is something not everyone experiences on the same level. Charley horse (aka restless leg syndrome) is one of them, which I too experience when I cycle, it is irritating as hell to get uncontrollable pumps in previously trained areas, feels like your body is trying to flush out an alien or something. It is just ridiculous... Well, back to the point, administering a fast acting oral before bed only makes this worse, which is why I would rather keep my doses around day time.

    No matter how much I take I separate into one dose at 7:00 am and one at 4:00 pm. I've always taken it between 50-100 mg ed. Anything over 100 mg gave me heartburn and I really don't think it was worth it to run it that high. Anymore I'd probably not do more than 75 mg ed. BTW, great stuff, unless your comparing it to tbol...
