    can libido be lost forever????

I've read some guys posting that in some instances; libido and ability to have solid erections can actually vanish permantly after cycles....is this true? I hope this isn't a dumb question but.....what the heck.

To be exact.....this one guy stated ,he was having ED issues and low libido 3weeks into PCT. A few guys chimed in by saying they had permantly lost their libido and cant get it up without ED gear.

After my last cycle, I had low libido for about a week or two and had mild ED issuses for about 4 days. Thanks god my condition corrected itself in time. I couldnt imagine losing libido and hard ons forever....

    the short answer is yes..

there are so many variables though that without knowing what cycle and your experience..

and for every 1 with a bad story there are many with good stories..

That could have been me that posted 3 weeks in to PCT and no libido. Guess what, I am 2 weeks out of PCT and still not much! Just as spywizard said, there are many variables, and everyone is different.

I have read people lose it for many months and it comes back (I hope that's gonna be me!) and others that never come back.

For any newbies reading... This is not a game! There are consequences and trade offs with everything you do. With roids, you cant be sure how you'll respond in terms of sides, even if you do take all the precautions.

Yeah, actually I was referring to your post. I just didnt want to openly post names. Was that your first cycle? Ive run 4cycles in my life, all about the same dose. The first three were about 6 years ago (I was about 25-26yrs old) and the most recent was earlier thyis year. All of the cycles consisted of 3-400Mg of test E for about 10-12 Weeks. Each cycle I pct'd with nolva and clomid at 40 40 20 20 & 100 50 50 50. The first three cycles, I didnt have any libibo or ED issues what so ever. However, during the last cycle week 3of pct my libido crashed and I had ED for about 4 days. Eventually, (1-2 Weeks after pct) my libido fully returned. Im not sure why I had these issues this time......age??

Mate this was my first cycle sust 250 2 x week for 10 weeks, age 34. All went very well except for around about PCT time. Got bad acne and very low libido. Go figure. Never had any issue beforehand, in fact I was always worried about the complete opposite of not getting it up and 'arriving to early!' Funny how life changes. All I can do is wait on my cialis to arrive in the mail and hope libido comes back. I'll get bloods etc done in another mth or two to see where I'm at.

Libido can be lost but as with every single thing in the body, its just a chemical reaction and therefore if properly diagnosed can be corrected with medication although you now become dependent on it.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, do you recommend getting blood tests now (2 weeks out of PCT) or in a mth or two?

Don't be afraid to hijack. Lol...its all relevant to the original question. So, can you still get a boner, but the desire isn't there??

could be too much estrogen, too little estrogen, too much progesterone, damaged testicular production due to abuse of HCG , or the lack of use..

everyone says 4 weeks for pct, i'd suggest more..

and as we get older, function/desire change..

Should I wait a few mths to get bloods, or do it right away. I'm exactly 2 weeks post PCT today, I was under the impression I should wait 2-3 mths post cycle to wait for things to normalise?

Kind of like being a woman, you know you like sex, you should have sex, you can perform but you could take it or leave it..

Cheers for the replies, but still not sure whether you'd recommend getting bloods immediately or wait it out a few mths? :P
