This isnt a life or death issue or anything, I simply have a question about shipping some cash internatinonally

Typically I use USPS, next day (which actually takes a week)

However, the person I'm sending this package to wants me to use Fed Ex. Now i've never used fedex to send any package internationally and I went to package the letter up and the guy said I had to declare what was in the package and then told me that if money was in there, they would confiscate it and not let it go international.

Now I know often times this is bullshit, but my guy on the other end has told me to just declare it as documents and put his phone number on it and they can call him if they have a problem.

I'm scared because i'm sending roughly 700 dollars his way.

Has anyone got any experience with this???

I'm looking to mail the package out today....so that's the reason for the need of replies quickly.

I always use usps with my guy to the uk only takes 3 days. never used fedex. why does he want to switch. I don't see why they can confiscate mailed cash. Not breaking any law that I can think of. Try and go to another fedex center and do the same thing and see what they say.

worldwide express mail is like 35....i have used it many times in the u.s....but never internationally, if it was me id go express...Madmax

The lady I spoke with that is sending me my international shipping form Also said I have to download an internatinonal shipping declaration...

does this throw any redflags on the package?

We've got a fed ex truck that comes to me...so it helps...the one your talking about madmax, i'd have to hunt down...

and yeah I'm getting rapped on the price to ship...but this provides a tracking number and is much faster. I send it out today and it's gaurenteed to arrive by the 21st...

USPS would take for-freaken-ever (like 7 business days)
