    blood work

how much blood do they actually take?? is it enough to affect your workouts... it takes two weeks for your body to regain the lost blood

They take far less for blood work then they do when donating blood. When you donate blood you are occasionally somewhat light headed and/or fatigued feeling for a couple hours. While it might take that long before a person actually replaces what was taken, you don't feel the effect beyond a few hours.

For a blood draw I've never noticed anything at all.

1-5 small vials depending on which tests you get. I get blood drawn all the time and still have set PRs 3 hours later. Even when I donated blood (a full pint, which is like 20-40 of the small vials they take from you for blood tests) I was back in the gym at full force 24 hours later.
