Test Implants...?
I just found out my testosterone level is 16ng/dl. My doc says that is very low even for a woman and wants to give my testosterone implants. These implants are very expensive and isn't covered by my insurance.
Is there another way I can get this form of testosterone? He says it's pure testosterone and not anabolic .

Use test gel (Androgel ) instead.

While I am male, I just had the Testopel implants done about 6 weeks ago. My insurance mostly covered, but they were quite expensive to get. Results are good so far, but ask me in another 2 months. For a woman, I would suggest injections or gels/creams. You generally need far less test. than us males. Applying a small amount of gel or compounded cream seems like a good way to go.
You could also inject small amounts of test. cyp. once a week...it would not take very much to do the job and would be pretty inexpensive in comparison to anything else.

What were your estro levels?
How old are you?
Are you:
- Pre or post-menopausal?
- Healthy (eating, exercising, major surgeries, etc.)?
- Sleeping well?
There is limited data establishing normal androgen values for women of differing ages, so it's easy for a doc to erroneously cite androgen deficiency. A second opinion might be a good idea.Master Pai Mei of the White Lotus Clan

I'm 38 and in good health other than being hypothyroid and I do sleep well except for when my kids come jump in bed with me at 2am! LOL
I don't see any estrogen results.
My doc says I am in the "normal range" for my age group, but he would like to get me to the levels typical of a 20 y/o girl. He says that would be b/t 200-3--ng/dl
I'm getting ready to start a clen /T3 cycle for the first time, but I was also wanting to make sure all my other levels were good.

that's what I thought and he said that is a general level given for women my age, but that there is no reason I can't once again have the levels of a 20 y/o

I would try the inject if your doctor will allow.

he said he had a one a week injection but it hurt and wouldn't keep the levels up for an entire week. If that was the case I don't see why I couldn't break it up and do it multiple times during the week. I don't mind the pain, needles don't bother me.

I wouldn't do injections for the dose of Test you need. My wife has high estrogen and low testosterone , progesterone and DHEA. She uses a compounded cream every morning it and it has done great things for her energy, emotional swings and libido. She is very happy.
Since you are talking about Test only, I don't think that won't effect your use of hormonal birth control but you might want to triple check.

Since I've had my tubes tied, not having a period would be okay with me! LOL
I thought about the creams, but read most of it turns to estrogen as it is absorbed through the fat layer.
I'm wanting to take var in a few weeks, wouldn't that just solve my problem?

Actually, gels have a higher conversion to DHT vs estrogen than injectables (in men, at least), as the 5a-reductase enzyme is concentrated in your skin. And you apply the gel to a lean area, like the inside of your wrist. And yeah, Var would solve your problem temporarily.
