Pip knee?

So after my last quad pin my knee hurt/ swelled. It's getting better. I know it's the gear crashing down to the knee because I shot badly. My question is did that inj get absorbed or is it lost ? Thanks

Although while pain has lessened it is warm to touch. Maybe I'm Over analyzing it. Anyone has had this pip right above the knee cap ? And was the test lost ? Anyone?
