Aspirate?!--I don't need no stinkin Aspirate! Coughing Now/shortness of breath wtf?!

I am a 40 yr old living in southern california where the climate especially now in the summer, has almost no bearing on colds, cough, etc.

i put Eastern Seaboard as my profile destination (point of origin) cos Im a surfer

I've been injecting Testoviron -Depot into my deltoid.

I don't aspirate because you really can't with 1 hand AND because the shoulder delt region there are hardly any blood vessels or nerves.

I'm recently starting to cough and have shortness of breath-- It's funny bro's cause when you know you get IRRITATED ON ROIDS TO PUT IT NICELY, YOU START SPEWING OUT A LONG SENTENCE TO YOUR FRIEND OR FAMILY OR GIRLFRIEND AND THEN THIS SHORTNESS OF BREATH HAPPENS, I SIMPLY RUN OUT OF AIR DURING THIS LONG ASS, IRRITATED SENTENCE.

My symptoms again (to put it in other words) are like I've done a big ass pot smoking session, the night before and I have a dry, irritating cough and shortness of breath today. (pot-smokin hangover).

*You may find it important to know, that in less than a month from now (on september 5th) I haven't smoked cigarettes or weed for 1 year!

Is this just a side effect of Test injections?

Should I really aspirate even if Im pinning the beefy, almost-no-blood-vessel delt region?

No one seems to know why otherwise healthy bodybuilders cough when they're on steroids .

i've seen this coughing symptom posted here and elsewhere, and after thoroughly searching, I still don't know the answer to this mysterious question...

In fact, steroids are supposed to open up airway passages and are good for the lungs (see asthma patients and their use of steroids).

***What's MOST IMPORTANT IF YOU COULD ANSWER IS: IF THIS COUGH AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH WILL GO AWAY AFTER LIKE A WEEK (when maybe all of the TEST has ran its course through my bloodstream after being directly shot into a vein--not by choice, I might add.

IT MAY BE THAT I SHOT TESTOVIRON DEPOT (DEPOT MEANS "STORED" A SLOW-ACTING TIME RELEASE MEDICINE) INTO A BLOOD VESSEL IN MY DELT REGION. I DID SEE BLOOD COME OUT.

SO ALL OF THE TEST WASN'T INTRA MUSCULAR, BUT SHOT DIRECTLY INTO MY BLOOD STREAM, DOES THAT MEAN MY LUNGS ARE TEMPORARILY INFLAMMED?

Im on a very tight budget in this dismal economy and I really don't want to spend 4 hours waiting for a doctor at a clinic--only to tell this uncaring dude that I inject steroids even though it's confidential.

that's why im asking u bros here...and Im thankful for a site like this to help people do things healthier!

any constructive advice, bros, would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Its not hard to pull back one handed. You should always do this.

Always aspirate . You will regret the one time you don't.

I've drawn blood in the delt. Don't worry about grabbing the end to pull, just pinch the plunger and pull back.

thanks, Austinite. just pinch the plunger with 1 hand as u pull back with the other, right? no need to answer if im right. im sure u must be busy.

so yoou've drawn blood in the delt. what about accidentally shooting 250 mg's (1 ampule worth) into a deltoid blood vessel?

do i have water or testosterone in my lungs? are my lungs inflammed temporarily? is this temporary. i know y'all are not doctors, but what about based on ur experience. sux cos im coming off a heavy androgenic cycle of d-bol & test & at the tail end im coughin like an old geezer and don't feel like lifting.

should i be worried about this dry cough/shortness of breath?

Its hard to explain. But i pinch where the plunger meets the tube. Pinching there forces your fingers into the tube and allowing a draw.

I've pinned in the delt (a mix of Test and Tren ) and I was .2ml in when I noticed it wasnt going in easy. So I aspirated and sure enough, blood came gushing through. Didn't do anything to me. Some folks experience a cough. Some don't. Shortness of breath? Not likely. Heart pounding for a while, yes.

I inject very slowly. 1 minute per ML with warmed gear, and that I believe is the reason I never experienced a cough.

I've drawn blood from delts. You are correct, it's less likely compared to other areas but why risk it? There are various opinions on how much oil is required in a vein to cause a cardiac event or collapse, but why risk it IMO? Some guys will say they don't aspirate but it's your life, not theirs. I ALWAYS aspirate. Moreover, if you inject frequently you should be rotating injections spots away from the delts every 7-14 days to minimize scar tissue and soreness. It only takes seconds and is easy with practice. Again, some will argue otherwise but I'd rather be safe than sorry - even if the bolus wasn't large enough to actually cause a cardiac event, I'm simply not taking that risk.

Yup. I never aspirated in the delt until the one time I decided to and drew blood. Now I always aspirate there. Unless it's B12.

Exactly! It only takes one time to scare the bejesus out of you! After that you tend to be risk averse! Lol

Ill be honest, I rotate glutes only ( 7 days apart) and aspirated the first couple times only to get air bubbles. I do not aspirate anymore and luckily haven't had a problem yet. I wouldn't mind trying delts but i only have 1" pins. Has anyone pinned in delt with 1"? I go really slow and wait 15 secs to pull out, never had pip either. Am I risking too much built doing this in the glutes?

i stick my delts with 1 inchers. in fact my reliable medicine hookup suggests those sizes. ur good goin slow and releassing slow. it's 10 xx harder tryin aspirate while sticking ur glutes. i know of a guy who went either tooo low or high in the butt and ended up temporarily paralyzed or numb for 3 days. forget the glutes--too many nerves and blood vessels there, dude. sure u might have to wear a bandaid on your delts and it don't look good in the summer when u want to wear a muscle shirt or tank top, but fuk it--ur out to get big safely!

1" is fine for the delts. I even use 1" on my glutes for my TRT script. In fact, 1" pins is what they always give me and I've never had a problem. Back in contest prep days, I even used insulin needles to inject my if I ran out of larger pins. I wouldn't say this is always a great idea by any means, but if you're lean enough it'll work. Not in the glutes but other muscles.

As for aspirating, it's not hard to do and is probably always best to do, but it doesn't protect you as much as a lot of people tend to think. I've aspirated plenty of times, no blood in the syringe and low and behold a few seconds later I'm coughing my lungs up. You can easily prick a vessel on your way in, aspirate and draw no blood in but once the oil is in there some of it seeps into where you don't won't it to. Won't kill you but it's more than annoying and can freak you out if it gets bad enough. Worst "Tren Cough" I ever had in my life was actually with plain ole testosterone enanthate . Anyway, you use steroids long enough, all sorts of little annoying things will happen eventually even if you're following the right methods 100%.

    best of luck bud

1 inch pins are plenty big for delts and most everywhere for most ppl unless they have alot of fat and tissue to get through.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS ASPIRATE ! Why? A better question is WHY NOT? It would be like skydiving without a parachute. Yes you can do it but it's just plain dumb. There is a big difference between PRICKING a vessel and blowing 1-2 cc into a vessel. Do I know how much it of what it takes before it's dangerous...no. But why take a chance.

As far as your cough goes. I have def. had it with tren and heard of it with test. Perhaps you are having a reaction to something else like the oil.
