Another injecting the vein thing.
Ok so: When you aspirate and you're in a vein you pull blood right? What do you pull if it's not blood? What should I see? I think I pulled a bubble...?!?
Also: Sometimes my muscle twitches when I insert what's that all about? I know it's not a nerve but am I doing it wrong?

Yeah if you pull a bubble you're good to go. That's what you want to see before injecting.
Also, the twitching is just some nerve you nicked with the needle. If you hit nerve dead on in your quads or biceps it hurts like a bitch... Delts I usually get the twitching thing, without much pain. You should be good to go to continue with the injection even when hitting a nerve, and the only reason to re-pin would be because of the pain.
When I inject in my quads, I insert the needle VERY slow and if I hit a nerve, I feel a pinch and I just pull the needle out a small bit, and reangle it a very small degree, while it's still in my quad and try to push it in again. Sometimes it's easy to bypass the nerve, sometimes I keep jabbing them, and if I feel like I am digging around too much, I just repin to prevent hematoma.

I don't aspirate in glutes. I'm just trying to finish as quick as possible.

Agreed theres really no reason anywhere that you cant aspirate , at least not a good one anyway. I know from lots of personal experience its a difficult thing to do in some locations but I still think we should have the mindset that its just as important as sterilizing the injection site. JUST DO IT GUYS!!!

If your in a vein then the force needed to pull blood out is very slight. Try pulling the needle plunger with just air. Very easy rite?? If your in a vein it will be equally as easy. So you don't need to aspirate hard enough to pull air bubbles or anything like that. Just pull slightly, if it dosn't move your not in a vein.
Pulling too hard can pull air in threw the seal where you attached the needle to the syringe. Not a good thing...

My buddy gave mine yesterday and it hurt! He pulled out and blood was at the base of the needle. I freaked. I immediately started dry coughing horribly and had shirtness of breath that lasted 10 or 15 minutes, as the coughing lasted that long as well. That was very scary for us both.
