Does it make a difference?
I use a 25 gauge needle that's 5/8ths long to withdraw AND to pin.
My buddy will use a longer needle to withdraw then switch to the shorter needle to pin. My question is does it make a difference? Or is it just a matter of preference?

no it doesnt make a difference what you draw with. It matter what you inject with. 5/8 is to short IMO
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

5/8 is short to pin with, depending on where you pin. in the glut, definately short. in the shoulder, not so much. prefer 1.5 inch myself

Is someone giving away 5/8th's? This is the second or third thread regarding them. I prefer 1" at least. And i draw w/18ga. Takes too long w/anything else.

That's what I was given when I started. Along with a longer needle to withdraw but I can do both with the 5/8ths so I quit using the other altogether.

you should be using the longer to inject with. Not drawer.
