    aas vs ph?

    I was wondering is there was a receptor difference is aas vs ph? I have done about 5cycles of ph's and am currently on 500mg test c and I'm on week 5 and am yet to be impressed... is it because my body really isn't virgin to steroids??? Do the work on the same receptors as ph's? Any knowledge or input is appreciated..

    I thought you said you've gained like 14lbs in 5 weeks? Those are exceptionally good gains for being in your 5th week.

    12lbs I lost 2 after stopping sd... but I've seen up to 25lbs on a 4week ph cycle.... any input on my question though...

    Yeah the difference is that PH's suck due to the fact that there are more sides and they are not as effective. Some PH's are 2 or more steps away from testosterone so your body must convert them, and it doesnt always necessarily 100% convert into testosterone either. Lets take DHEA for example. Now I know nobody uses this for bodybuilding but it's the first prohormone that popped into my head. Sure your body can convert it to test but it doesnt always do so. It also converts it to estrogen. Your body decides what it's going to do with it. So you're not getting a steady supply of test, your levels will vary. Some of those PH's can also be very liver toxic when taken for long periods of time. Why put your body through that just to get half-assed results?

    Real test is the way to go man. The reason you haven't seen results yet is because Cyp is a long ester compound and you should start seeing significant gains around week 5. Just make sure you're on top of your diet. There is also always the possibility that your gear is under dosed or bunk.

    25lbs of lean muscle in 4 weeks is impossible. If you did gain 25lbs I bet a lot of it was fat and water.

    I have seen really good gains from PH, but because they are so hard on your body you can only take them for 4-5 weeks, after that they start to become unaffective and also very hard on your body. You can only make so much actual muscle in that amount of time, were as AAS you can use for longer periods and have more muscle gains. I honestly wouldnt give PH as bad a rap as most make them out to be, I big part of there bad rap is basically that they have to keep changing the compounds to stay "legal" and little is known about what you are actually taking. Another is that it will shut down your testosterone production and you are not replacing it as you would[should] on a AAS cycle. its not good to be a male and not have testosterone.

    I wouldnt knock PH though I have had cycles of PH go better then my 500mg per week test E cycle.

    I'm gonna say about 18lbs were prob muscle on the ph cycle (no joke) it was stakabol but n e way I'm strting to think my body isn't that virgin to steriods

    Ok... so please explain this. How can something that has to convert into testosterone for it to work be better than taking testosterone to begin with? Where is the logic in this?

    Well c how the rest of the cycle goes... its not bunk.. my weight is up and libido is sky high.. might b under dosed though... I wouldn't know lol

    Sorry dude... 18 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks is still impossible. Especially on pro-hormones. Do you happen to have pics?

    I never said it was better CB I'm asking if it runs off the same receptors... cause if it does then obviously my body isn't virgin to it right....?

    I don't have pics on that cycle but took one a week ago on this cycle... so I want to c 8weeks from now what I look like/weight

    I don't understand why you keep saying virgin to steroids it means nothing

    Gains slow the closer you are to your genetic max not because you ran ph cycle that means your body has a tolerance to aas like you seem to think

    Thanks Danb finally got some type of answer.. lol.. I say it cause maybe I should of upped my dose or through in something like decca (though I will wait till next cycle to run it now) and to those who don't beileve my gains off ph's is fine... I'm not here to prove anything to anyone but all I can say is I used to be 160lbs and now I'm at 219.. with hopes of reaching 250 one day (maybe a lil more lol at 10%bf or less) is my future goals but thanks for everyones time.. its appreciated I will stick to strickly aas from now.. I was just wondering were I stood and trying to understand my body at this point thanks again

    exactly. You cant keep putting on 15lbs every cycle. If it was like that we would all be huge. The reason you may have put on more earlier was because you were smaller.
    If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

    Cycle low & slow. That's what I have learned from reading for hours.

    The way I look at it, the faster it gains the faster it can fall off.

    As for the real question of PH Vs. AAs. There is no comparison. I came to this conclusion myself also that you can't predict how a PH cycle will hit you. It "could be great but. . . . . At least with juice, you know how much of what you are getting and when.

    Thanks Samson for the comp I was actually a little bloated there to from sd. My abs are a little more noticable then in the pic. But thanks for the advice
