    Sterilising bottled\sealed gear

    Does anyone know if there is a way of sterilising bottled\sealed gear? I have a few 10ml bottles which i wish to sterilise

    What do you think it may be contaminated with?

    You could get a syringe filter and another sterile and sealed vial and transfer the oil as well as baking it. Personally I never bake any gear, not even the homebrew. When you bake it you risk oxidizing the compound and the syringe filters usually are enough to filter most contaminants.

    Use a pressure cooker
    Suspend the vials in the pressure cooker making sure they aren't touching the water and cook for 30 minutes at 15psi

    Whatman filters are good for removing any microbes or contaminants in it.

    Will the pressure cooker damage the gear in anyway?

    Heat is not the enemy of gear, it won't do anything to it. Extreme cold temperatures are.

    Either way, I would not expose gear to extreme heat to try and sterilize it. Run it through a whatman filter, then there's no need to hear crap up, turn on stoves and ovens, etc...
