Finish long ester cycle with prop?

    Hey everyone,

Been reading some mixed views on this so I wanted to put it out there. What's everyones views/experiences on finishing off a long estered cycle with test prop? I was thinking about finishing up 10 weeks of test e then 3 days after my lost shot start pinning prop EOD for about 2 weeks then start PCT 4 days after my last pin of prop, but I'm interested to see if there is actually any benefit to this in terms of recovery or if it would actually cause further shut down because essentially you'll be adding more test to the period where the test e is clearing.

    Thoughts?

    welcome to the board mate!
this is one way to back load, as the last two weeks you will have higher blood serum levels as you suggest. But you will be able to start PCT sooner.

Thanks mate! Been lurking around for ages, not much of a poster on here though (mainly stick to Aussie boards).

Do you think it's worth the trade off to start PCT earlier, if it means there will be higher serum levels which could cause a larger HPTA suppression? I hope that makes sense haha.

you will be fully surpressed = making 0 testosterone. as there is no natural number lower than zero, how can you be MORE surpressed?

one reason for back loading is that towards the end of a cycle, gains seem to diminish. by switching to P the last two weeks, you are, in essense, increasing the amount of free test available to your receptors, and therefore, this diminishing, itself, should diiminish.

Ah okay, I see what you mean. Apologies for what I said before, I worded it wrongly. I meant more so that I was under the assumption that having more test circulating would make it harder to recover from. So in essence, I was thinking it may be a trade off between a 'potentially' easier recovery however starting later (that's assuming that having the lower levels would make a difference to recovery) or a quick blast raising the amount of test that is in the system but being able to start PCT earlier.

That would be assuming the only benefit though to backloading with a short ester would be starting PCT early... I didn't think about the potential benefit of extending the gains. Thanks for the insight!

two weeks is a short period of time and the degree of difficulty of returning natty test levels compared to the slight increase of test for that short period of time is practically unnoticeable
