Young people on roids
Just to start this off, I want to say that I'm 20 and I'm not going to touch AAS again. I just want to ask a simple question. I've seen people on here say that people under 25 shouldn't take roids unless they want to be a professional body builder or strongman, then it's fine. Is that true?

steroids can do more damage to some one younger. So why risk it for a hobby
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

of the 14791 people on line right now on the bulletin board, I'm guessing less than 1% of those under 25 of these are at a point in their natty devvelopment where they have plateaud and can go no further without steroids . But we (the staff) have to be real careful when answering these type questions, because anything we say to anyone in this age bracket may be perceived as a green light to take steroids before they are ready and their hormonal systems are mature enough.
We get 19 year old kids with only 6 months gym time wanting to start off with test/dbol /var/tren as a first cycle when they don't really even have a good understanding about these drugs or even about the food they put in their body. Like everything else, they just want what they want, and throw caution to the wind. They feel immortal. And under 25, tbh, and in most cases, also means common sense hasn't fully developed either. Sorrry, but there it is.
And of the almost 15k people reading this BB right now, very very few are professional body builders, or even close for that matter.
So when I make a comment, if I'm going to err, it will be on the side of caution. Hope you understandLast edited by Times Roman; 06-17-2012 at 08:32 PM.

Forums such as this are certainly helpful, but it behooves each and every person participating in these forums to gather as much information as possible from a variety of sources when making choices about your physical health. Anabolics are attractive for the benefits they promise, but they are not without significant risks - which are often ignored.

Lack of knowledge is a big reason. But anybody who's 18 and knows more than the average juice head has the go-ahead from me. As long as they understand what they are doing and have everything set up. I've actually seen 18 year olds recover really quick when on good advice and a couple of 40 years olds not recover at all. In some cases the young guns recover quicker. But to me it's all about intelligence.

And what exactly does the "average juice head" know? Did you do studies on these (18 and 40 year old) individuals? Fact is, the risk out weighs the reward.
When i was 18 i thought i knew it all too. But really, the only thing i knew was that i wasn't in high school anymore, went to work and wanted to get laid as much as possible. I had AAS all around me and for whatever reason, i didn't use. And i'm glad i didn't. Hell, i might of totally messed myself up and not been able to have the 2 loves of my life. My kids.
That being said, it would be irresponsible for me to advocate AAS usage at such a young age.
