    Trying to get bigger.

    Hi Guys, I am 20 years old, 5'7 175lbs with 12%bf. I am trying to get bigger.. (190lbs) with keeping my bf the same but lately I feel like I have been putting some fat on. and btw I do feel that I am getting stronger and bigger but I don't want the extra fat.. so obviously there is something wrong with my diet. I do train very hard and I know I am doing it the right way but Just need to learn more about the nutrition. Can you guys give me some examples for a bulking diet?

    My current diet is

    10.00 am = 2 scoops of Whey Protein(48gr prot.)
    10.45 am= 8 eggs and 1 cup of oatmeal
    12.45 = Chicken Breast and white rice ( 40gr protein+40gr carbs.)
    I have class between 1.30-2.45
    Gym at 3.00
    4.30= 2 scoops of Whey Protein+5gr creatine mono
    5.15= same as 12.45 or steak instead of chicken.
    8.00= Fish(60 gr of protein) and some veggies.
    11.00= Cottage cheese ( 25gr protein + 5gr fat+8gr carbs)

    Thanks guys.

    You most likely will gain a some fat when you are trying to bulk naturally.

    But, you need more food. Hit the diet section, man.

    You need a lot more "good" carbs.

    you said your growing but gaining a little too much fat with the muscle? id cut out the 8 whole eggs and sub with just the egg whites, also use water for your protein shakes instead of milk, also cut back on the shakes maybe 1 scoop per shake for your size this looks like too much protein, I am no diet guru so hopefully a more qualified member will chime in.

    I meant only 8 white eggs.. not whole eggs. Yea I am using water with the shake and yes I am growing but gaining little fat with the muscle.

    I'd be happy with that. . . . Without juice I strongly doubt you can have a LBM only bulk.

    ok then the diet is not that bad, like samson said its pretty hard not to put on a little fat while eating over your maintaince calories! just keep it clean and maybe cut your carbs at night ! more fasted cardio might be an option when you want to shead the fat.
