    problem pinning?

    Hey,

I pinned in my right quad 250 test cyp on Wednesday.

It hurts enough where I can't run, barely do stairs and sleeping is sometimes uncomfortable.

the spot that i pinned is blotched red a little bit but it doesn't look bad.

    Any thoughts?

Is there any heat associated with the site? If not it is virgin muscle. Message it. Put a heating pad on it. Cowboy up.

Probably poor injection technique and an unsteady hand. Warm up the gear. Pin at a rate of 1 minute per ML. Sucks but it helps. Like Cape said, massage the injection site thoroughly. If your hand isn't steady, you will cut up the inside of your muscle causing swelling, hardening and redness. This typically goes away after 2 to 3 days. if not, see a doc.

This happened to me once. My hands were really shaky that day and I was using 1.5" needles. It got really swollen a couple days after the injection and it wasn't completely back to normal for almost 2 weeks. I could barely walk for the first week. There was no heat or redness so I believe I just damaged the muscle tissue with the needle. After that incident I switched to 1" needles and slowed down and I did much better.

I was lucky. My friend, on the other hand, got a very nasty infection in his quad that took almost a month to get rid of and along with it he got a very stern talking to by his doctor.
