Please answer these questions about pinning.

I am just starting out on my first cycle.
I have been pinning my right quad (and need to start rotating) but I can't seem to keep either hand
stable when getting ready for the left side.

    Please answer these:

    1. When you inject opposite side, do you do the jab with your normal hand or opposite hand?

    2. What happens if you hit (or went through) a surface vein?
Is it possible to badly damage a vein?
Thinking about going through a vein then wobbling around by accident

    3. How do you keep the needle steady while in?
It seems that it would be almost impossible to avoid moving the head of the needle up or down in the muscle (once in). Even if the needle itself was always fully under the skin. - Or is the distribution of veins so sparse that it doesn't matter?

    4. What happens if you don't jab the needle in straight?
You drift to the side or change the angle of entry whilst the needle is finishing going in.

    5. Is it fine to just rotate between right and left quads (and nothing else)?

    Thanks.

    1.Use your regular hand
    2. Aspirate to be sure your not in a vein, if you nick a vein you'll get a bruise that will fade.
    3. Over-thinking the whole process, push it it in slow and steady.
    4. Over-thinking the whole thing again

What i do: Jamb it in just about any muscle push it in quick and go about my day.
    LOL

    1-- Whatever you're more comfortable with/better at.
2-- I don't think you'd damage a vein that bad unless you hit it every time you pinned in the same exact place for years. Scar tissue would form and there'd be a possibiley of your vein collapsing. I know people that have abused drugs for years. They have veins collapsed and saw/felt no difference besides very little or no blood was flowing through that particular vein. Now if you hit a nerve, thats gonna be painful.
3--I keep the needle steady by pushing down and putting pressure straight down into whatever spot I'm doing. Without the pressure, my hand may shake a bit when I'm trying push the plunger down.
4--Just be as strait as possible. If its off a little its no big deal. Just try to inject into the fattest/biggest part of whatever muscle your pinning, go in as straight as possible. Do you best to not move the needle around.
5--You really should rotate more than that. What are you pinning? Every day? Every Other Day? Every 3 Days? I only pinned in my glutes for my first 2 or 3 cycles. Now I only pin shoulders and glutes. I've notices some scar tissue build up in my glutes from pinning so much. So yes, It is better to rotate as much as possible.

You should try pinning you glutes. They are the easiest (for me). That'll give your quads a little break. IDK how you are pinning, but if your having trouble keeping a steady hand, load the syringe, and when injecting... hold the plunger like a buzzer button on a game show. Don't hold it like a cigar with your thumb on the plunger. Grip it in your fist when your ready to inject. Might help with the steadyness.

Mate I just taught my misses how to do it for me. She can get the best site in my glutes, has steady hands, and I cannot even feel the damm thing. Given she is often doing a 6ml injection I think its great, Regards, John
