just curious if there is an ideal bf% to be at before using aas. I know that less is better in regards to sides and all that stuff, but is there like a safety or buffer zone that you should be in before even thinking about starting?

I believe the general consensus is <15% but at 21, you are still too young to begin using aas.
k im 22 i dunno why profile says im 21 still and ive heard the you're too young schpeal every time ive posted lol. im not using atm, but if i was it would be my personal choice to do so at any age. yes i understand that over 25 is an ideal age because of hormones and this and that, but i would really appreciate it if people would just give me the advice and answer the questions without slapping me on the wrist over my age. im here to learn, thats why i signed up. im probably one of the 1% who's first post wasn't "omfg im an idiot and need help now that ive started pinning and dont have a clue what im doing!" anyways thanks for the quick reply
If any if this were true you'd have used the search button and looked it up instead of starting a whole new thread on BF%. So if you make the "personal" choice against all the vets here opinions. Then so be it. Just be in it for the long haul cuz it won't end well.
But as a junior member don't you think I'd have heard the you're too young at least a dosen times since starting up? As for the search option ill be sure to do that next time instead of interrupt you in whatever else you're doing on here besides trolling for threads like mine, my apologies.Originally Posted by papa-g
Then why would you not take the advise of people with vast knowledge in this subject matter?
I am. Hence why I'm asking questions, and not using any aas yet. I did mention on this thread that I'm not taking anything, but if people are going to assume I am and give me shit every time I ask a question than I'm not going to bother asking anyOriginally Posted by papa-g
10-15% is best mate , everyone says that u should be over 25 but im 21 n i have used 3 tyms with no visual sides except abit of anger, theres probs alot of hidden sides i may get when im older if i keep on who knows ? Most probs there is as everyone says it , if u tell a kid theres a pot of cookies but dont touch touch them ....... They still will ....
So it is ur personal choice but like me if it ends bad i wont go looking for sympathy lol
Thank you, and I agree 100%. When I do feel that I'm ready to start using aas, It's going to become part of my life. Thats why I'm waiting. It's not a get huge quick scheme for me. I'm putting my friggen soul into bodybuilding to get the physique I want and if aas is the way I gotta go to get and keep then so be it I'm doing itOriginally Posted by reevezy91
Yep, it's totally your choice buddy.
Ok sorry, I'm not trying to slam you but to me it seems as if you are telling everyone here his your not gonna use till your ready in the hopes that people will answer questions for you with our you having to do the leg work. Spoon feeding around hear is hard to come by and for you to start a thread on something as simple as BF% make it look like you don't wanna learn anything you just what to know when you can start. If I'm wrong then I'm glad but I feel as you are just looking for easy answers to a very complex system. Best of luck
Just my 2¢
I've just been asking questions as I have them, but you're right in the fact that I could be doing more leg work as far as reading. I am trying to learn and yes I do wanna know when I can start, but that doesn't mean I'm gunna start as soon as all my questions are answered and hope for the best. I'll do more on my end, and thanks for giving a shit if that's what you're really doingOriginally Posted by papa-g
Ok cool. Hang around the board for a while. There are lot of great dudes here that will help. But you can't expect to log on and just start asking how and when to take steroids. People here work very hard at what they do and aas are last in line behind diet and training. There ate no shortcuts unless you want to have more bad results then positive. It doesn't happen over night and the more you read the easier it becomes to understand. Then when you get to a point where things are just overwhelming, then ask. But truth be told you'll learn more be listening rather then talking. Again my 2¢.
Good luck and feel free to hit me up if I can help. If I don't know I'll find out.
