Question Whats the Downside to LONG TERM TEST E? 16, 24 weeks?

Im NOT Taking longer than 16 week cycle but Im just curious - what is the down side to those that choose to go 18 20 24 weeks or longer? Theres a bouncer at my job who claims when he goes on he stays on for months at a time with no long term sides....is this possible? Again - I'm not considering it - and i don't think he's lying - but I just want some opinions....

I've found that I see the most noticable gains from Test E weeks 7-12. After that, for me, gains slow down. Staying on longer means shutting your nuts down longer=harder recovery/rebound. I know many people that stay on all the time with little to no sides. They are all young guys or haven't lived long enough/done enough juice to see the consequences yet.

Diminishing return for the $$$ greatly decreases after 12 or 14 weeks.
Longer PCT needed, more aggressive PCT, more chance of not recovering completely.
