Help withdrawing prop from vial - syringe full of air?!

Hey guys

I'm having difficulty withdrawing my test prop from the vial.

I'm injecting the same amount in air that i want to withdraw in to the vial, but no matter what i do, even if he needle is fully immersed in the liquid when i attempt to withdraw i get a syringe full of air with barely any liquid in.

There also always seems to be negative pressure in the vial, i tried injecting more air in but still the plunger wants to be pulled back in? Suggestions please? quick reply would be grateful as i'm due to inject tomorrow morning

what size needle are you using?

also if your using 2 part syringe and needle make sure the needle is screwed on really tight, have you tried a different needle ? maybe the first one was blocked or defective.

it is a 2 part syringe, was on very tight - i tried withdrawing some water with it before i discarded it and it didn't see to leak or let air in, all be it that water is significantly less dense than the prop would be

Sorted the issue. Underestimated the thickness of the stuff. Had to pump the syringe a few times and have a little more patience. Thanks though

lol was jsut going to say that, it wasnt air it was a void in the pin, it just didnt fill yet

Of possible draw with an 18 and pin with a 23 or 25. Can't imagine how long it take to draw with a 25.

Really doesn't take as long as one would think. I just pull it back until Im to the point where its going to pop out the back next. Then I just watch it fill. and measure backwards.
