Is there anything better than AAS?
I've read an article somewhere that we might see better stuff than AAS in the future. I can't recall exactly what it was about since I read it quite a while back. It was definitely not a hoax. Can someone clear this up for me?
It was just as powerful as AAS, if not more powerful without the nasty side effects.

Yes, but you would have to be richi rich to afford it.

Yup. AAS is already old news. SARMS are still in a very young experimental phase and may show more promising compounds in the future as time goes on. Then of course there is genetic manipulation. There are some who do believe that there are high elite level athletes that have already dished out big coin to dabble in it. But AAS is becoming old news, and very fast. If/once genetic manipulation becomes mainstream, there will be no looking back, and there will be no more hormone augmentation. Why bother sticking more exogenous HGH or testosterone into yourself when you can program your body to produce supraphysiological levels of it to begin with? And it doesn't end with hormones either, what if you can change your genetic makeup so as to have more myofilaments in muscle tissue per given area? Sure, it will be expensive as all hell. But it will also for the most part (as far as we currently know) be undetectable as to who has had it done to them.

Have a read about myostatin and gene altering, I'm pretty sure that is what you would have heard about.

It'll be altering genes.
There's been studies done on mice on blocking myostatin, which is what tells your body to stop building, so you just get super, super strong. Google myostatin and read up on it. It's interesting and some of the animals are crazy-big.

The problem with that is that it isn't the same in humans. Rats and mice have naturally very very high levels of myostatin present in their bodies. We humans have a fraction of what mice do. Therefore, a reduction in myostatin in mice would lead to extremely significant muscle mass increases, while changes resulting in us would not be anywhere near as dramatic. It's very different for us. Furthermore, when myostatin levels were reduced in humans in clinical studies, it has been demonstrated that tendons became dangerously weak and brittle in the test subjects, leading researchers to believe that myostatin plays an important role in the strengthening and maintenance of tendons and connective tissue. Not a good thing! Especially if you're looking to increase strength and whatnot in the gym. I wouldn't want bigger stronger muscles at the expense of weakened connective tissue.

Pretty positive that Cell-tech or any supplement that ends in 'tech' is superior to AAS...

Actually have never and will never do any drug ( again ) that has visual sides. I had a reaction to interferon and suffered a hemmorage in both retinal arteries( could barely drive or cross a street for over a year ) so I am a little gun shy when it comes to this kinda thing LOL

I'm nervous about genetic manipulation in humans. We are such complex beings I just don't have the faith that scientists can know all the side effects of such experiments. AAS may be old technology but it is a well known and there is a lot of empirical data available to the user. Just the combined knowledge of the vets on this board's gotta be hundreds of man-years of experience.

^^^^^^^
It irreversibly alters DNA so who knows what adverse effects this may have in areas other then the specific ones targeted?
