Injecting in the quad

His is my first cycle, and I've only injected in the glute by someone else

I can't reach around to do the glute by myself, so I'm going for the quad, I'm shit scared of needles though haha and I'm stressing that hard.

Quad or delt? What should I do???

And also, I have 1 and a half inch needles, how far should I go into my quad??

i like quads. sit in your fav chair, stuffs all lined up on the table, hands clean, breathe slowly... lol

i use my free hand to stretch the skin using my thumb and index, and my master hand holding the pin like a dart. insert slowly perpendicular to the skin.

i use 1inch 25g, but 1.5 is fine.

once you have tried this, i seriously doubt you'll bother with any other pinning sites.

i would suggest the quad. also you are only supposed to go 1" in the quad so leave 1/2" out.

Personally quad I have had more issues with nerves, if you're doing quad I've found sitting on bed with legs straight out to be best, delts are easy but I find they get pretty saw afterwards. My first cycle I hit quads only, but easiest is glutes if you can reach and a mirror helps

Had a pair of socks in my mouth just to (well i dunno why lol) **** I'm a *****!
Did it on the bed with leg relaxed and straight!
Stretched the skin
After loading the needle it took me about ten minutes to put it in! I was getting light headed!
Put it in so slow, didn't hurt, I knew it wouldn't, aspirated and pushed it in!
Went in a little faster than I was hoping but I was nervous haha! A drop of blood, massaged and all sweet!
I really need to get used to this if I'm going to keep juicing!!
Went about 1" in, hope that was alright

forgot to mention. pinning virgin muscle, esp the thigh, can cause some pain the next day!

Learn to do glutes and delts to. Variety is nice. When it comes to glutes it's actually almost your hip. Very high and to the side is easy once you get the hang of it. Congrats on a successful quad shot! First isn't easy. Get yourself some 25 ga 1" or even 27's. You won't feel it. Forces you to push slow also which is beneficial. Just load with an 18.

See? Nothing to it... Just make sure you keep a lot of clean socks around and you'll be just fine with quad pinning.

Only a little bit of pain when I stretch my quad, other than that my leg feels a little heavy, if I saw blood, I would of passed out for sure, first ones over, at least I know I can do it by myself haha

Once the pin is in, before you inject the oil, pull back and see if any blood comes into the syringe! If not your good to go! If blood comes in, pull out an inject somewhere else,

I found the first couple of times i pinned my quad fairly painful (muscle spasms or nerves etc) until i found a quarter inch sized spot free from those little veins u can just see that i always use now... Always a clean pin never any blood and using the z track method helps heaps aswell for any leakage issues...
I've always used left and right quads its just so much easier to do...

Also during my first few jabs id go have a shower or bath straight after and let the hot water loosin up the muscle so it wouldn't hurt the next day (i found this extremely good for prop)

Well at least you've got your head screwed on straight. A lot of younger guys think there's nothing more than just taking steroids. They have no idea about how or where to inject, the risks, and the numerous side effects you may have to deal with and treat with other Meds.

It comes with a price that has to be paid.

I am getting ready to start my cycle next month and hate needles. This thread sounds exactly how I imagine my first time. I already figured it would take close to 45 mins to convince myself to do it. I still have some more reading to do first. I think I will be ready by the 1st though

This was a great thread. Everything worked out well, you gave out some useful info about pinning to new members and some of the new guys now see what its all about and now see that there is alot to learn before they go sticking needles in themselves. So I just want to take a moment and say great thread guys!

I've been pinning now for about 3 weeks, and the mystery and suspense is already all but gone. Didn't take long. First time I got some serious twitching happening...... no pain, but enough twitching to move the freakin' needle. I ended up punching 1ml through a 25ga pin in about 15-20 seconds. LOL Bad idea. I also re-punched the vial a good 5 times before filling completely..... the 25ga pin was drawing so slowly I was sure something was wrong. LOL The next day I had a badass charley-horse, not walk-with-a-limp bad, but it made squats interesting. Since then I've gone top right quad, top left quad, bottom/side right quad, bottom/side left quad (all within the middle 1/3 of the leg). The pain still reminds me what I've done the next day, but its getting better. I keep forgetting to warm up the vial or syringe before shooting.

I still FAR prefer orals-only. As routine as this injecting is, its still a royal pain in the ass (quad). My significant other cannot know about this..... EVER, and its just extremely inconvenient. Its riskier as well (no infections or jabbing the wrong things with pills). Its more involved and time-consuming. I have no fear of blood, needles, or pain, but with orals you just wake up, pop pills, get on with your day. You can hide them in your supplement bottles and take them through airport security. Why cant anavar just keep working forever......??????????

I draw with a separate larger gauge pin and then swap the needle out before injecting. I order syringes with 20 or 21 gauge 1" needles and buy individual needles that are 1" 25 gauge for the actual injection. It's much easier to draw through a larger gauge needle, and you are pinning with a fresh never been touched needles when you switch over to the 25.

I've been down the road you are traveling with keeping the significant other in the dark. That has the potential to come back and bite you in the ass down the road. But I'm sure you recognize this already. Be safe. Something as simple as leaving an empty syringe wrapper where it can be found is enough to bring it all crashing down.

I didn't tell my girlfriend, who then became my fiancé, who then became my wife. The day of our wedding I was extremely bothered by the fact I hadn't tried to discuss this with her previously but still held on to my secret.

Had a close call once where she found a syringe wrapper I had forgot to throw out when in a hurry. I had aflutop amps and explained I was using them to alleviate joint issues. She bought it and I dodged a bullet.

A few months later while cleaning she found my stash. I told her about my HRT (which was true) and she was more angry and hurt I didn't tell her then anything else. A woman looks at is 'if he is hiding something like this from me, what else is he hiding'.

We've been married for years since then and things are fine. But this could have turned out completely different and could have lead to the end of she and I.

Honestly speaking in my 20+yrs of doing this I still dont like quad injects..too many vessels and nerves in my quads.
I prefer GLUTES first,,delts,,then biceps.

No way in hell I'd walk thru TSA checkpoints carrying gear. What's the wife going to say when they find that at your point of entry and you are both detained? What's that going to do to her career being wrapped up in something like this? You are grown, do what you wish, but that's a dangerous path you are on.
