    Low dose cycles anyone

Am I the only one who thinks people take way too much gear?
The average at home recreational body builder doesn't need to run 1g of Test a week with their other 3 or 4 compounds tossed in the mix.
I've never run higher than 500 on test E (350 P) but I'm not saying I haven't been carried away by taking 2 or 3 other compounds with it. I've also run very low dose cycles with great results.
I don't need fast gains, don't need an extra 30lbs, I'm happy with my size. Being on TRT I really don't feel the need to run high dose anything or short esters. For my next cycle I'm considering 200mg test c, 200mg deca, 400mg eq for 20-25wks, maybe with some tbol (be a first for me). Low and slow then back to coasting at 100wk.
So what's the deal, anyone else run low dose cycles?

I like the idea of low dose cycles, I've had results on some in the past

It all depends on your current goals and situation..

Im on the fence with this debate...

The argument for higher dosages would be this...

If you can handle the sides and take more gear to produce more gains in the same amount of time then why not?

Ive had good results at lower dosages, and great results at higher dosages.... I think there is a point of diminishing returns but we wont go into that on the open board.

More gear does produce more gains, trust me... However there is no need to overdo it and cycle irresponsibly.

I do believe that being on gear gives you a mental edge and that you train with more intensity and stick to a diet better just because your 'on'..... If I was to pin you with straight oil and tell you that its 1000mg of Test e each week your gonna grow more than you would if you were 'natty' (if you get what i mean), simply because of the extra focus and effort that you put into your diet and training.

My point being that even low dosed cycles are useful as they give you a slight edge and they help you to focus and train harder etc....

I can agree with that for the most part.
Less noticeable sides doesn't necessarily mean less unseen sides. My biggest concern these days are more heart/health related.
I've never ran EQ at 400mg, I've been considering 600 but even at 600 sides get pretty intense come week 12, night sweats, bacne, etc etc. I'm really curious as to how this cycle will work in the long term after say, 25 weeks. Not expecting anything miraculous, for that I would've added tren in there.
I completely agree about the ON mentality, off cycle most people, present company included, tend to not push themselves as hard.
