    Testosterone Drug levels in the Body

    Hey guys,

    I came across something recently that has raised a question.

    I have examined the testosterone levels in the body of two scenarios using a geometric series formula.

    scenario 1: A patient given 500-mg injection of testosterone enanthate (with a half-life of 10.5 days)
    every week will metabolize ~33.3% of the drug between each administration.
    Using the given information to calculate the levels of test. e. in the body after the
    12th shot results in ~1485.6mg

    scenario 2: A patient given 150-mg injection of testosterone propionate (with a half-life of 4.5 days)
    every 48 hours will metabolize ~20.4% of the drug between each administration.
    Using the given information to calculate the levels of test. p. in the body after the
    12th shot results in ~687.7mg

    Conclusion: Although the total administered weekly dose of test. p. (525mg/week) and test. e. (500mg/week)
    are almost equal. The presence of test. e. is ~2.2 times the amount of test. p. in the body after the 12th shot.

    Question: What does the level of testosterone in the body correlate to?

    Question: what is the effect of this difference in the amount of the drug present in the body?

    100mg of test p has more actual testoterone than does 100mg of test e due to weight and ester

    Ester ratio is not significant enough to account for the difference.

    Yes more Test is present at the end of 12 wks with Test E, but at the start the prop is more apparent than E. Meaning youll feel the prop quicker, but will drop off faster. With Test E it takes time to build up and will feel it for a longer time after last injection.

    Ok please stop spitting out random facts about things like differences in molarity and things like which one you will feel faster. That has nothing to do with his question.

    Also its not weight that makes it "more testosterone" tes p has a higher molarity because its a smaller molecule.
