    Exclamation pigmentation from AAS ??

i have real bad pigmentation well at least thats what i think it is and was wondering if the use of steroids of PCT drugs could cause this ?? i have also used sunbeds in the past and have recently got back from holiday but just wondered if it could be caused from the use of aas and similar drugs ?

100% possible. that is exactly what happened to me because I cycled early and was quite uneducated. Until I feel like spending 100 grand to get rid of it, I am stuck with it for life. Sucks. (I was 19/20 years old. 36 today).

Another thing that often happens is that you develop a red hue in your chest collar area which makes it look like you are getting a lot of sun, this is caused by high blood pressure due to the blood becoming thicker due to the RBC count rising.

Learn something new every day, what caused this the AAS or the PCT chems? Is it photosensitivity or is it another issue? I am on TRT so if PCT chems cause the problems this is really no concern to me....so hopefully (for me) thats the culprit. Of course I also use MTII which would probably negate/lessen the problem to some degree anyhow?

I'm currently on TRT myself so I never run pct. It was not PCT because back then I didnt run it. It was AAS. It's hyperpigmentation. Started flaring up on my back only, then it spread onto my shoulders and stop at the delts. Some small dark spots some larger. This was over 15 years ago so my memory isnt so sharp, but I recall a derm telling me that those who are more acne prone are also prone to hyperpigmentation. It's really wild, after 17 years the spots are the same. Over the years I've visited derms and wasted a ton of money with no results. Laser is my next option. Which I'm currently considering.

    Thanks for the reply austinite,

What the derm said about those with acne/backne makes sense, as AAS will certainly increase both of those. Sounds like another situation also where once the body chemistry has stabilized you would have a much smaller chance of the problem arising..just another reason to wait to cycle.

Absolutely. All the work I do, and I still can't take my shirt off at the beach. Really sucks. My little brother wanted to cycle when he was 19. I pulled off my shirt and he quickly changed his mind. I hope young folks on here would reconsider as well.

Pigments could be from high estro. Just like how some pregnant women and ladies on the pill tend to get pigments too.

I'm not an aas user....yet, just a guy in his, oh about 5th or so month of reading and learning, but I also have the same problem on my back and my stomach. Its more noticeable on some days but I find it's more noticeable when I'm working in really hot conditions. So I think it may be some sort of a heat rash type deal. I've been in tanning beds before too and I notice it right after that or when I stop using the beds.
