Tren is mind ****ing the shit out of me lately.

Well brahs, I'm mid way through my contest season. Going to do IFBB North Americans Aug. 30th- Sept. 1st, and then likely nationals in atlanta in November before calling it quits for the season...

The only problem is, i swear tren is mind ****ing the shit out of me lately. I've been on tren since January (beginning of contest prep for my season)... and have been slowly upping the dose every so often since then... currently on:

    1000mg tren e EW
    250mg test e EW
    500mg mast e EW
    100mg anavar ED
    75mcg t3 ED
    120mcg clen ED
    5iu HGH 5 on 2 off

If it wasn't for me being at the prime time of my contest season i'd either drop my tren dose or get off it entirely, but let's face it... tren is king and if i drop it or lower the dose now i'll be hurting my physique going into these national shows, thus hurting my chances at that coveted pro card.

The problem is... i think it's starting to effect my relationship with my gf, friends, and even some family members. My emotions seem to change frequently, and i seem to get angry rather quickly now. (I'm sure dieting for the past 5 months is playing a role here as well). What would you guys do? Keep plugging along and try my best to hold it all together and hope for the best, or call it quits on the tren? Any suggestions bros?

    Much appreciated.

If you love the gf, I would worry about that first. After all what is the % chance that you could win? To loose someone you love over a trophy and a few bucks is not worth it. Trust me on this I have done it. I was top 7 in the world going for #1 in an NHRA class. I made it to the top 4.

How have you handled it during your other show preps? You have had to experienced it before. The gf should understand at this stage. Especially with the diet.

Chances of winning aren't overly high, but i'll likely place very high. And damn, that is impressive man. I am starting to think this way myself, though... i don't want to ruin a good thing i have going with the gf. I'd regret it big time in the end. On the other hand ... i'm a competitive mother f*cker and am thinking i'll just try to control myself/temper as best i can and hope that is enough until the season is over. After that everything should be back to normal again.

Well i've been with this gf for the past 14 months, but i didn't compete last year. I used it as a year to grow. So she's semi been around it, but never when i'm in full dieting mode with the higher doses of tren going through me. I've never lived with anyone during a contest season, and now that the gf and i live together I think that is the reason this is so difficult. I can't just avoid her entirely when i'm feeling cranky or getting into an irritable mood. (what i'd usually do in the past with past girlfriends). Eh, I'm going to tough this out but try my hardest to not let the tren/dieting overly effect my mood/etc. Or at least i'll try to hide it better when it does. I've come to far to take such an important drug out of the arsenal at this stage.

I've never experienced what your going through. But I'd love the situation your in. I wish I had 1% chance of being able to compete. Think of it this way. You know the dangers of using aas. You love the competition so much that you'll give up a sweet snack. You sleep even longer just so you build more muscle. You do so many things that are uncomfortable or that takes so much dedication so why give up? Just keep going but, keep your cool. Why would you let it get to the point that you were contemplating stopping? Is the other guy gonna stop? But also, do you think he'll lose his cool? Try to keep it cooll bro and good luck!!!!!

I would recommend ''Meditation'' try to work yourself up to at least 30 minutes a day. Try Binaural Beats to help with the affects.

I get mood swings like that too, and it has affected all parts of my life. I was taking citalopram back in 2010, and it seemed to help. Before this, I was having mood swings, anger issues, panic attacks, you name it. Two weeks into this medication I felt a lot better and my life seemed to turn around. Well, I stopped taking the medication so religiously and was smoking a little too much green and I ended up stopping the medication.

Now, I'm at a point my life spiraled out of hand again and I just got back on 20 mg of Citalopram (ED). Have to say, I feel so much better. I would wake up angry or anxious all the time, now I wake up feeling great. My GF says since I've been on it, our relationship has gotten better.

So yeah, I would look into a low dose of Citalopram. Talk to a psychiatrist. I'm not even going through my insurance, I'm paying out of pocket, but this medication is like 10 bucks for a month supply. Cheap.

Thanks a lot bro, I appreciate the advice! I'll look into it.

As for the picture request - sorry guys - i'm too paranoid about posting any type of photo of myself on here that could come back to haunt me. I did however win the overall at a national qualifier this season, so if you look at all the results for national qualifying shows this spring/summer perhaps you can use deductive reasoning and figure out which one i am! Haha.

Ya right! Do you know how many npc national qualifiers are in one year? What a dumb thing to say.

You paranoid to be seen on a steroid forum because you need advise on the steroids your using to enter a contest where you have to be using steroids to place in the competition..And will go to Nationals in front of thousands to be seen by millions via different media but they will think your natural?

Yeah if you give us the date and state.

I was going to mention Citalopram. I think most cases of "roid rage" is due to a chemical imbalance that can be helped with anti-depressants.

IMO, more than anything contest dieting that long will mess with your mind more so than anything else and I say contest dieting on purpose because even most diets meant for leanness are nowhere near as brutal as many contest plans. As for you, you're going on 8 months of that, of course your mind is flipped around upside down.

You may need to really focus on your emotions a little more these next few weeks if you want to stop damaging your relationships. Gauge what's important to you and those relationships are important you'll control your temper. Your hormone levels may be out of whack but there's no steroid on earth that takes away your free will.

Last thing, if you've been in contest mode since Jan, you might think about making the NA's your last show this year. Odds are strong you won't look your best come Nov. if you've really been dieting this long.

Not disagreeing with you but building on that. If he is competing at a national level he has used these compounds and dieted a lot in the past unless he is a phenom and should know how his body reacts to both. If he is competing at a national level his gf will be very aware of his steroid use.

He did mention he wasn't dating this girl the last time he competed, so this is all new to her with him. Either way, I'm a firm believer in that emotions can be controlled even with high doses of certain compounds.

Ok you didn't compete last year. How did you handle this when you competed before last year.I don't understand how this seems new to you. And hey I'm just asking. I know you didn't compete your first year and win an npc qualifier..Maybe I'm not getting it
