    Are AAS right for me

    Hey guys

    I'm 26/m 6'1 153 lbs 10% bf have been working out for a month thus far (3 - 4 times a week).
    I have worked out few months when I was in high school, but didn't get any results.
    Im not looking to become a hulk just make my shoulders and bic and traps pop a little bit along with pecs, nothing drastic.

    I eat diet consisting of 150g of proteins daily and reduce my cals intake to get ripped right now, and I always take omega 3 ultraman multivits and calcium, protein shakes and eat a lot of veggie salads and do cardio before my workout.

    Also I think my testosterone is low from birth, because I can't grow any sideburns and don't have body hair on my chest and my voice is too high
    and my physique is somewhat feminine.

    steroids are not right for you right now. You need to get your diet in check. In my opinion you should have at least a year of serious lifting and dieting experience before you start any kind of steroids. Get your diet fixed, and lift heavy and rest and you can get the results you want.

    If you think your testosterone is low go get it tested by a doctor, but dont start self medicating with steroids, that would only make the problem worse in the long run. Steroids may be in your distant future but certainly not right now.

    Thanks for your insight, can you give me some tips how to fix my diet, because I had it calculated from other forum using their formula for macronuntrient requirements, (I probably worded it the wrong way, it's not just 150g of protein, I also eat about 140g carbs and 50g fat)

    Check out the nutrition section. You can get some awesome guidance over there. Once that's dialed in, hit the training hard, and watch your body grow.

    Aim for 3200 calorie diet consisting of 40% pro 40% carbs 20% fats

    You'll be looking at 300g protein minimum... 150 won't cut it. You'll be about 400g carbs and 50-60g fat daily. It's no joke and can't be done in a weekend. You need to ramp up strategically in increments you can handle.

    This won't be easy and if you use a bunch of shakes, you'll rip your self off of real nutrients which are what your really needing. Instead you need to go to the diet section and read a lot. Especially the "how to bulk" sticky. Everything else will come in time. For now, don't do roids.

    I'm not really looking to do an overall bulk, maybe more of a clean bulk, because my body has feminine patterns of fat storage eating 400g of carbs will result in having fat ass and gut hanging out which is what I'm trying to avoid I basically am going for a ripped 6 pack + poppy upper body type of look.

    Welcome to the boards,

    Did you get your testosterone levels checked?

    I would focus on training right now. You can focus more on certain areas and sculpt the body that you want. It may take some time, but with decent food and training, you'l get there. Visit the workout forums and ask the same question for suggestions.

    I understand thats what you think, but really you probably have no idea. 400g of carbs sounds like a lot, but really it isn't. A "clean bulk" is a bilk with minimal fat. If you gain fat and a bubble but it's because your working out like a woman. At over 6' and 150-some odd pounds you have nothing to worry about in the ways of gaining fat. What I showed you is what you need. Call it whatever you want but that's what you need to grow muscle. You will grow depending on how you train, and you will not get fat unless you don't train and eat like that.

    This is a calculation of what your body needs, not what sounds like a good meal plan for a ski by guy. You can train all you want, and drink all kinds of shakes, and inject all kinds of gear but nothing will happen without fixing what you eat.

    Carbs are always scary for people because they think they will make you fat. You need carbs, but u also need to know what carbs are good and which are bad. Go to the diet section and try to learn about this. It is the knowledge you need to move forward. You body is a machine and food is the fuel. If you think you already know, then you shouldn't be here, because your not ready to learn. If you knew, you'd be 6' and ripped like you want to be. 2 very important things are to be patient because training and growing takes time, and to be humble, because if you knew everything, you'd be writing books and teaching people instead of asking for steroid advice.

    Eating more may help but it wont do much. I weighed 190 at your height at the end of high school. And I had a size 32 waist. It's 80% your genetics bro. You can start eating like a horse but it wont make you look like super man. You can reach a decent weight and look more muscular though, but it's gonna take time and effort. I wouldn't go the steroids route unless you want to create more problems for yourself. Try and do it naturally first. If you value longevity and health in the long run, then steroids are not for you.

    You need a good bulking diet. And you're on a diet to get ripped? Seeing how you look at carbs and no mention of them in your diet, you really need to learn more about them. Person can't live off protein alone. Or they'll be 6'1 and 153lbs. haha...just playing around. Learn how to eat. If not, it's all a waste.

    And i wouldn't listen to anyone over 4years old that says"duh" and doesn't know that Superman is one word. Just my thoughts.

    Your not as smart as you think you are. Don't take that offensively, but that is the truth. Genetics is another cop out. Genetics might influence how hard you have to work at it, but what he is trying to do is totally acheivable without ever touching AAS. Sit back, learn and read somemore. Nobody that takes steroids to attract the ladies is that smart in my book. I know what you giys go through with shutting down tour HPTA, gyno, libido issues, cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. If steroids make you feel like a man then so be it, but don't question my intelligence when you inject stupid in your ass.

    Well, if the guy just wants to put on a few lbs of muscle then he can go to bodybuilding.com. He is a skinny girl and is already looking for shortcuts. That's lame. Didn't even put a solid year in the gym. Sorry I don't have respect for cheaters and people who do steroids and act like it's all about diet. I wasn't born last night. I know how things work. I know guys that don't even know how to lift and do steroids and put on 25 lbs. It's not hard to get big on steroids. I know guys who eat wendys all day and don't know shit about diet that get huge on steroids. It's too bad they turn back into the pussies they were before steroids and I still look better and bigger.

    Gaining weight is not a problem I used to take some weightgainers and got to 210 lbs, but the only catch - it was mostly lard and it took me a long time to finally get rid of it until my abs starting to show again. This time I'm only interested in LBM increase, I don't think having a fat gut will make you attractive to babes.

    This is the reason for a clean dialed in diet (without wendys obviously) n it takes time i lived on tuna milk & eggs when i was 19-22 i stank bad but i put on strength & size n im not recomending you do that but its an example of the right foods in the right amount for what you wanna do with your body i wanted size n power without being a huge fatass n it worked for me but you learn how to improve your eating n ull be ripped n strong n healthy without gear mke that choice at the right time when everything else is tip top

    Lol I second this!! I figured out this guys problem. He's on payco meds.

    Trial and error brother. The weight gainers weren't what made you put on fat....you were taking in way to many calories than you were burning off! I highly doubt anything including AAS will only give you a LBM increase without some gain of fat even if it is minimal.

    Just tweak your diet more and slowly increase your calorie intake. If you begin to notice more of a fat gain then tapper the calories off a little.

    Thats when you figure your TDEE and for macros for the bulking diet you want. The muscle you want is totally possible without AAS!!!
