Could sum1 plz tell me...what are the things to get checked in a bloodwork?

I know, i know...this question has been answered numerous times before...but i cant find the answer. I just need a simple rundown of what to check. Also, i dont know if estrogen levels are included in the standard recommended bloodwork but i'd like to get that checked as well...Also something very important...what is considered to be normal estrogen levels in a 30-year-old male?
    Thanks alot in advance guys!

Ps. I've checked out the educational thread before posting this. There is a sticky on how to read the bloodwork result but i couldnt find anything on "what" to check for.

I believe you want a "full panel" but you'll get a better idea in the HRT section.

    Good luck!

Sandman here you go. Read this thread: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...-TRT-Physician
TRT or a cycle it applies. Always a great idea to have good baselines to fall back on.

Ok i see "total testosterone" and "free testosterone" on the blood work list
Is it necessary to do both??
I just need to know is my testosterone levels are normal? Do i need to do both tests to know this? Reason i ask is cz the "free testosterone" costs ALOT more than "total testosterone"

This might be a stupid question but does having sex right before talking the test affect the results??

Well it depends on your goals. Total testosterone includes everything bound and unbound. Free T is just that, what is free and available for use to your body. So no, you do not really need to do both it just depends on your goals. As stated, Free T is the useful T and a normal non-cycle percentage of free T would be around 2-3%. Check www.privatemedlabs.com and also look for coupons which are often available. Also check www.lef.com.

No, I've not seen research that indicates sex has any effect on test results. Although it can and will effect a PSA test so abstinance is needed for app 2 days prior to BW.
