HCG- Sub Q or IM... and why?

I'm gearing up (forgive the pun) for my first cycle and want to ensure all my ducks are in a row. I will be running HCG throughout the cycle at 250iu E3D to keep it even with my test pin schedule. Throughout my research I have seen multiple people say to pin the HCG sub-q around the bellybutton while others say to load it in the same pin as the test and go IM with both.

    My question is this:
Is there a particular benefit to doing it one way over the other? Obviously the convenience factor lies in pinning both at the same time, especially for those who are less a fan of needles. At the same time, from what I've read, the absorption rate is better suited to sub-q shots with an insulin pin. Additionally, since I'm using 3ml syringes for my test, it would be much easier to measure out the 250iu in an insulin pin.

Looking to get feedback from those with experience and why they prefer their particular method. I'm open to both. Just trying to do this right.

    Thanks in advance.

I prefer the common practice of pinning AAS IM and HCG Sub-q. Theoretically HCG sub-q will have a slower absorption and thus may be utilized better. Personally I have never mixed the 2 as 1 is oil based and the other is water based, seems odd to me. You also bring up a good point about measurement. 250iu is very difficult to measure in a 3ml syringe, unless reconstituted with wayy too much bac water.

I say pin seperately n go sub-q with the hcg.

If you did go IM with the HCG, measure with the slin pin and then squirt it into the 3ml barrel, pin on top, off you go?

Sounds good, makes sense. Just wanted to double check with those that had experience. Guess I'll go order some slin pins now.

Interesting, I just sent a PM to two vets on here asking them the same question, lol.

It seems like Subq is the concensus. Here is a dumb question....when injecting subq, is the stomach the most common spot?

Most males hold fat on their stomachs, so yeah, its easiest to get to as well. You can also go hip area (love handle) and tricep.
