    Supplementing on a cycle

I was just wondering on some people's opinion or experience and results from supplementing things like creatine and pre-workouts. Any noticable benefits? From what I've heard, it's all good..

Also what about using an EC stack during or even during pct? Just a thought

pwo supps are nice as always - cycle doesnt really change that for me...
creatine could be a waste of money but since its cheap it can only do some good - you got nothing to lose...

Quite honestly Shadowmaker confuses me! Ppl's opinions on the validity of pre-workouts varies. Most will agree it's the high dose of caffiene stimulating you during your workout and the rest of the crap in there is mostly under dosed filler.

Creatine on the other hand is (IMO) one of the most essential workout supps there is. Everyone should have a big ass tub of creatine mono sitting on there counter.

The answer to your question is that neither one of these will cause any harm during cycle but I believe there is an added benifit of faster recovery when using creatine.

Personally I try not taking pre work out drinks while on any cycle. I do drink coffee 1-2 times a day now. I only do this because once I cycle off then I use pre workout drinks to help keep me up and going.

As far as other supplements I take alot. Multi via's, fish oil, ect, ect.

everyone is different... you and i could do same workouts, eat same food, live at the same house, take a dump at the same time and sleep at the same bed while doing the same cycles and we would never get the same results...
in fact - its possible that one of us wouldnt progress at all...

its like - doing squats and making the same amount of muscle damage and then eating the same foods to recover, would never give the same progress... ones legs would react in one way, anothers - completely different...

I'm not a big coffee drinker .. so I don't know but I find pre work outs help with that little boost to start. And I agree I always have and take creatine through out the year. So I'll keep on those supps thanks guys.

I'm assuming nothing much would change during the pct?

The only pwo supps i will and have used is an energy drink from time to time, and creatine most of the time. Creatine is the only thing i believe in other than protein shakes. All that other stuff including PH's is garbage and a waste of your hard earned money.

Preworkouts are mostly garbage, just a random jumble of ingredients. If you need the caffeine to get you going you can find it in other places, but shouldn't need that extra bit while on cycle. Creatine is awesome and works, some save it for pct and when off cycle to help bridge the gap, but imo it would be fine to be on it during cycle, really up to you. Say your creatine is making you 5 lbs heavier, start cycle go off creatine, you lose that 5 lbs of extra water weight while gaining 20 lbs, it could help mitigate some stretch marks.

Hey Pete...Debate vs. Arguement? Energy Drinks? Seems like that is one of the biggest wastes of money on unhealthy, useless garbage supps there is. I also when talking supps you have to include a good multi, fish oil and BCAA's. Anyone else???

n.o xplode is the only thing that kicks my ass... i love it because of how i feel like when i drink it... its some kind of ectasy and happiness - i feel like im living in a world in which unicorns eat rainbows and shit butterflies.
i have been drinking energy drinks and coffee and taking the same amount of caffeine i would get from X-Plode but still - the feeling is really close but not the same, so there is something a lil bit more...
if i just need some extra kick it works fine, but nothing beats x-plode for me...

p.s - funny how the product is called "x-plode" cause 10 times out of 10 ill have to go to the bathroom 2minutes after drinking it but in that crazy state of mind its all good i feel like a drug addict when i drink that stuff... but it also helps to motivate and it kinda keeps me going in workouts.

multi is a must have isnt it? i have never lived a day without it...

as for BCAA's - if you drink whey you dont need it... im drinking like 3 large shakes(3 scoops each) - the amount of BCAA in them are over the top of any daily requirements...

Still love protein creatine, i will take a multi till i die same with fish oil, but all of the stuff like bcaa's and glutamine I feel can go, I am personally starting to phase that stuff out while on cycle, it just seems like what I get from it is not worth all the extra money I am blowing, just my opinion.

Many believe it will help lower their blood pressure while on anabolics, based on long term studies that show the decreased inflammation in the veins and arteries are reduced by taking baby aspirin daily. Although it will have no effect on blood pressure caused by anabolics, because it is not caused by inflammation. Although it can be helpful if you already have high blood pressure from conditions other than taking AAS. But if it makes them feel better

It reduces platelet aggregation resulting in decreased hemostatic effect thus resulting in a small lowering of BP ...but thats not why I take it. I take it for general cardiovascular health., I think anyone over 40, esp anyone living this lifestyle, should (after consulting with their doc of course.)

I use the basics like vitamin/mineral,,efa's and lots of whey ON cycle but I use the things like creatine OFF cycle
for an extra edge then,,when I need it most.
