Celulitis After Using UGL Gear
Last week, I decided to try some T400 from a UGL I hadn't bought from before. Shot 1.25 ml into a Quad. This week I have pretty severe Celulitis. I'm always ultra careful with cleanliness, change pins between draw and inject. Swab with alcohol pads...hands are clean, etc..
Anyway. now I've got this suspect ****. I've read other board members talkin about filtering with .2 filters and heating gear in the oven.
Is there a recent thread I can find that would give me good advice? I ran a search but didn't come up with anything.
Thx

If you want to be careful filter the gear though a .22um whatman syringe filter into a sterile vial. I've shot perfectly sterile gear and got a hot red bump. It happens sometime. I don't know why but it's better to be safe than sorry.

hmmm....this sounds familiar in a different part of this forum with someone not sterilizing and cleaning vials!

ya try drawing out the test n pushing it thru a .2 or .22 into a clean sterile vial.
