beginner cycle ?
hello im almost 20 years old and have been bodybuilding for 2.5 years. I have hit some what of a plateau and my gains are really slow it not existant. I have gained about 40lbs of muscle and i am happy about it but want to try something to take me to another level. I want to compete and want to someday be a pro. What would a beginner cycle look like and what would a good pct be? Ive done research but want some opinions. Im leaning toward injectibles because of the less risk of liver damage. im not for sure if i will do them any time soon but just want more info from people who have done them. Any help will be great!
Thanks!

Ok. So you're gains have slowed. We've all been there. It sucks.
Where are you at now (height, weight, BF all that?
And what were your starting stats at 18?

Head to the nutrition section and they will set you on the path to size gains!!

As D7M requested, let's see some stats & also your diet & training regime, & maybe we can help you figure out how to break this plateau naturally.

Alright so i started on january first 2010 when i was 17. I weighed about 140 and now i weight 180, i am currently 5ft 10 inches and i might have gotten a inch or two taller. when i started my arms were maybe 12.5 and now they r 15.5 or a bit bigger. My diet is 3 whole eggs in morning with 2 packets of oat meal which equals 62 carbs. Lunch is usually a form or carbs from noodles which is around 1-1.5 cups, and followed with a protein which has been usually from red meat. Then i work out and after i have my creatine, and protein. Then my dinner meal which varies due to what my mom makes but that usually is a carb and protein meal. then I have what ever i had for dinner again or i have a 20gram protein bar. before bed is some greek yogurt and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and a glass of milk. On my non workout days i have a protein shake before bed and delete greek yogurt. My supplements are CellMass(almost out), Syntha-6, animal flex, amino x (almost out), neurocore, just got size on to replace cellmass and amino when they are gone. My training is i workout 4 days a week, it was 5 but takin legs off for awhile due to a bad knee which i am trying to recoupe. Chest monday, shoulders tuesday, wednesday off dau, thursday arms, friday off, saturday back, sunday off. I usually train within the 8-12 range and i vary sets for each body part from around ten for biceps to 16 for back and 12 for tris and 14 for chest and around 12 for shoulders.Thats what i got, ask for more info

post your diet and goals in the Nutrition Section and those gurus will have ago at it and assit you in tweaking it to fit you and your goals.
adjust you training to include low reps high weight to the point where you need a spot on the last two reps. keep your workouts intense for 6-8wks then back off to med weight for same and repeat. basically youre doing a modified Dorian Yates routine. BUT, without working your legs..ie squats, deads ect, youre limiting your gains imho. only when your leg/knee heals properly will you be able to really know if you are plateauing or not.

You have made some good gains bro.But like wat was said you can make more. Now if you wat to get to 200lbs you got to eat like a 200lb guy.Keep up the good work and stay natural.Beacuse if you cross that line you will mess up your body. And its no fun not being able to get it up at 18.And it will happen.

Marcus300 penned a thread titled "youth and steroids " and goes into detail the damage youngsters can incur by starting on steroids before their mid twenties. It's a good read, and I'd recommend you search and read it too. There are many long term health risks that are more of a concern by starting too young as opposed to if you wait and start in a few years from now. Most people are going to try and steer you away from steroids because of their concern for your long term health.

Your 20 man. You will end up doing more harm then good at your age. 25 is a safe zone.

Your diet is lacking brother, the crew in the nutrition section can help you with that. And I would suggest increasing the weight & lowering the reps in your training, shoot for 8 to 10 reps for max fatigue & failure of any muscle, your current routine is geared towards toning, not building mass. Furthermore, have you done any research on the Endocrine & HPTA systems?

Good post cape. It its imperative that it be known that while 25 is the recommended age to cycle, it by no means makes you impervious to damages. You are not "safe" at 25 you are just less likely to incur damages, most specifically because your systems are now fully developed.
