    Starting cycle off with cut

    It is coming towards summer over in oz and so I want to be real lean and pack on some more size... I'm 25, 174cms, 85kgs and approx 13% body fat and this will be my third cycle... Now I want to be quite lean for this summer around 10% any less the better, but I want to get some lean gains too... I have been researching and all over the net people have been saying you cant do both it won't work etc... Now from what I understand it's because if you start with a bulk and then go into a cut, your body hasn't had time to cement the gains and you end up losing the new found muscle... But if you went from bulk to cut and then went into pct eating heavy again would this maintain the gains as really you shouldn't lose any muscle whilst still being on during the cut? Anyone have any knowledge on this?

    Or another Idea I was thinking of was say starting the cycle with Anavar alone for say four weeks with a calorie deficient cutting diet and then adding test prop and tren for 8 weeks with a calorie surplus diet for some lean bulk? What are people's thoughts on this? Thanks

    Diet down naturally before your cycle.

    I have been eating heavy since last cycle to cement the gains and don't really want to diet down natty to avoid muscle loss if I can... Anyone have any answers to the questions?

    If you eat at a deficit on cycle, you SHOULD maintain all your LBM, with no muscle loss.

    Eat right, train hard and you might even gain a very slight amount of muscle, but that is being optimistic.

    I would just stick to one or the other. You're going to get the most benefits out of your cut if you do a straight cut.

    I say just decide to bulk or cut and roll with it.

    I'm just that couple of % away from being where I'm happy... It's just seems a waste doing a straight cutter for it when I could be gaining more size... And summers only three months away so I don't have much time to cut natty and like I said I dot want to lose any muscle... Anyone see anything wrong with starting off with an Anavar cut?

    No reason you'll lose muscle if your diet and training are in check, unless your test levels are low.

    If your protein intake is sufficient and you cycle carbs, you will hold onto your LBM. Aim for about 500-700g fat loss a week. When and if you cycle you will be better off.

    Teat levels tested and are fine, but
    I still think I lose muscle cutting natty

    Almost everyone thinks that. I feel small when cutting. It's most likely just your mind playing tricks on you. I'd only worry about muscle loss under 10%, thats when its good to use AAS for a cut,
