    Bodybuilders who blast and cruise

I am really curious what one would need to cruise at as a professional bodybuilder to keep their gains and make progress. I doubt they are on more than a gram of test all the time. I know forum members here who cruise simply because they have to and are on trt. But their cruise dose is their standard trt dose, which I have no idea can sustain large amounts of mass. But some bodybuilders are cruising at higher doses to keep progressing, or are they not? Heard from some individuals that they are constantly running something like 300 mg a week, but those guys weren't pro bodybuilders. Anyone have knowledge on this? I know this has been discussed before, but I'm just not seeing much in the way of answers.

I hate to say it, but it's totally an individual thing.

I know a local guy who cruises on a gram, whereas others I know cruise at only 300mg/wk. And still others cruise at only a TRT dose like you said around 100-150.

Really depends on goals and how your body responds to the drugs.

Ya just as I thought. I guess only way to back up if you are cruising safe enough is with various blood work.

this has been brought up several times. Clear and concise answer above. I have been blasting and cruising for about two years besides one time I got off completely for 45 days for bloodwork. I am on 750 mgs of sust weekly now. 200 mgs of cyp once a week or ten days is a cruise dose for me. wish I could go back and rethink my decision to ever use.

Cruising is injecting once it twice a week for the rest of your life. Constant bloodwork and maybe even an ai. After a few years of this it can become annoying and a hassle. And its not cheap. And most do not look at when your 55-60-65 years old you probably don't want to deal with all that

whats the benefit then? why not just do separate cycles and pct a few times a year?

As gearbox said after a while it's a hassle. I've been on TRT since '94 so factor in 1-2 pins a week for just TRT plus pins for cycles or blasts and your up close to 2000 pins in that time. So yeah....it can be a hassle. Plus you feel like a pin cushion after a while.

It really varies based on the person like everyone has said. Some pros cruise with doses that would be larger than standard cycles a lot of members here use, some less, and some actually come off everything for short periods of time. Normally only a couple months or so. Of course no one ever likes believing any pro comes off at any time, but it happens more often than you might think. You have to remember, these guys are not simply genetic freaks in terms of their ability to build muscle but they are genetic freaks in terms of how they respond to gear...the latter is probably the most important factor of all.

I have a friend of mine who's a pro competitor who comes off every year for a good two months, closer to three sometimes but at least two. Normally he'll do so in the fall after he's done competing for the year. He comes off everything. He definitely loses a good bit of size but he's still more muscular than the average guy. Once he gets back on, it's unbelievable how fast the transformation is...his genetic response to gear is ridiculous.

the answer to that is the same. it depends. someone may just do one cycle and be totally screwed. but the more cycles you do, and the higher the doses, the higher the risk.
